  • "But I tell you, do not swear an oath at all: either by heaven, for it is God’s throne; or by the earth, for it is his footstool; or by Jerusalem, for it is the city of the Great King. And do not swear by your head, for you cannot make even one hair white or black. All you need to say is simply ‘Yes’ or ‘No’; anything beyond this comes from the evil one." - Jesus Christ. Nice one Mark

  • @RevivalOrRiots Nothing wrong with raising concerns. But if you say things like "epic fail" that puts people off and shows that you're someone who is unable to talk to. Show yourself worthy of debate first.

  • @FrankSuiMusic Dually noted.

    Done and done.

  • Well read KJV bible verse Mark 15:33 Where Jesus say's "My God my God why hast thou forsaken me

if we read the bible Jesus never claims to be God so read your KJV bible and get back to me

  • @acetrippy There's a reason as to why Jesus quoted Psalm 22 when He spoke those words in Mark 15:33; but my question to you is this...Do you believe Jesus to be a mere created man or is He the Son of God that pre-existed His birth in Bethlehem??

  • @acetrippy read John 10:22-39

  • To you Mark and Your Church Why in statement on your churches site would u say Jesus is God when that is not the case people will believe in almost anything me i like to research tho i already Know enough to know that Jesus is not god your video's do seem to have few good points so for the sake of our lord Jesus by who all are saved and John 3:16 please think about this

  • @acetrippy : Really? Jesus is not God? Who then is Jesus? Was he a man? Was he created? An angel maybe?

  • @MrSB1274 a man

  • @BaneOfAzrael : So by your admission, you have made God out to be pagan. In that he demands human sacrifice to atone for the sins of the world?? Ooops. Swing and a miss. I guess you need to read the bible again, but a little closer this time. Oh and you'll need a large helping of the holy spirit too.

  • @MrSB1274 Read the bible bub. He needed animal sacrifice at first and then had a human (Jesus) die to appease him.

  • @BaneOfAzrael : Soooo if he was cool with human sacrifice then why did he order the slaughter of the Ammonites for their worship of the God Molech (Molech was worshipped by sacrificing their young children and sometimes burying them close to or in the foundations of their homes, as well as around pagan shrines). You have made God out to be pagan, and contradicting what the scriptures say. Sorry, another swing and a miss. Sound like I'm not the one who needs to read the bible again.

  • @MrSB1274 "Soooo if he was cool with human sacrifice then why did he order the slaughter of the Ammonites for their worship of the God Molech “ --> he admits that he’s a jealous god. So if people are sacrificing to other Gods he’s going to loose his temper.

I’m not contradicting what scriptures say. I’m simply pointing out the areas that are “inconvenient”. Over all its an interesting story.. but I don’t see how anyone could consider it true.

  • @BaneOfAzrael: Since you're a little slow, I'll ask you...If you assert that Jesus is a man, show me...where does it say that?? I'll be happy to show you where JESUS says that He is in fact God. Go ahead, I'll wait. I would like to see specific verses stating that he is just a created Human Being with zero divinity....

  • @MrSB1274 "Since you're a little slow” --> since your a little bit of a dick I’m not going to be all that polite or patient with you. I’m not going to start with the "**** you’s” or anything, But I will call you on being a dick.

  • @MrSB1274 "If you assert that Jesus is a man” ---> Biologically jesus was a man, born of a woman. The way christians put it “god in fleash” or “gods Son” If there was a divine aspect to his spirit, it does not change that the body, flesh, etc was human, ultimately that is what was sacrificed.

  • @MrSB1274

Jesus himself claimed to be the son of God, and refereed to God as the father. He did not to my knowledge, actually claim to be "god the father”. But even if he did, it wouldn’t change the fact that it was his human side that was sacrificed.. for the spirit (according to christian theology) is in heaven. (not really a sacrifice there)

  • @acetrippy Go watch his Easter sermon.

  • i hope to have a hot christian wife...

  • @83Tubes amen

  • This is a declaration, not a vow, i.e. "As for me and my house, we will serve the Lord."

  • I can see samwisegingy is still looking for God. I hope that Someday he'll open your eyes

  • James 5:12 "Above all , my brothers, do not swear not by heaven or earth or anything else. Let your "Yes" be yes and your "No" , no or you will be condemned"

  • @Maytons

    Shhhhhhhhh

  • Won't your children decide for themselves about their relationship to the Christian god?

  • We do not know the same Jesus. My Jesus said NOT to take vows, NOT to take titles such as Teacher or Pastor and to listen to HIS words (not all the words in "the book"). For you think you have salvation in scripture yet refuse to come to HIM.

    HERE is truth. jesusfamilies. org

  • @Maytons So what are you supose to do when you marry? And I think you need to read again what Jesus said about the Law and the Prophet.

  • @CogInAVice You didn't review the website I shared did you? Review first then I will answer any remaining questions. You probably won't have any if you review thoroughly. =)

  • @Maytons are you the author of this website? One comment on the imperfect law of Moses. The laws Moses wrote were the ones given to him by YHWH. there are in fact God's laws. So how could they not be God's Perfect Law. Now what Jesus means on exactly how to keep God's law; is a questions Im working on. If you discount the writings of one man as flawed the you condem the rest of them as flawed.

  • @CogInAVice The site is that of a dear friend who's more tech savvy than I. God's law IS perfect, but Moses' ears and writing aren't (he was still only man as you and I). Jesus on the other hand is the Son of God, with perfect hearing. While a man can say many nice things about God and His Son it does not mean that all he writes is truth does it? If we come in "child like faith" we only need what Jesus gave us. Do you believe Jesus' words to be incomplete?

  • @Maytons I dont believe Jesus words to be incomplete. But he did not write them down. Men wrote them down. So is If Moses ears and writing were not perfect how is that the ears of Mathew, Mark, Luke, and John are? What about the rest of the New Testament writings.

  • @Maytons How can you fallow Jesus if you dont study scripture. Peter said all scripture is God breathed and profitable. So what am I to do with the Old Testament. Cut it out of my Bible? Am even supose to read any of my Bible? And if I dont seek to learn what Jesus quoted time and time again how can I fallow Jesus? And remeber Jesus has only fulfilled half of the what the Missiah is to do?

  • @CogInAVice Peter was a man speaking HIS opinion. If you believe Jesus' words are complete then you have all you need, but it's your choice. I can see that you didn't look at much of the site I gave you, and I expected that. I have pointed to The Light as a man in the wilderness (John). If a Pastor today added nice words about God to the bible would you except that? Review the site and then we'll talk. Your next comment will tell me if you looked or not. Be blessed friend.
