well their both quite short games. silent hill is way more terrorfying but i feel konami need to step up their game a bit in terms of story. because after part 1-3 its just been about other peoples scenarios that doesnt realy take the story anywhere. theres no big picture anymore.

Res5 is okay, few things they did away with, which is a let down, the weapons cache from Res4, where the items fit in by actual size. they changed that completely in this one and there is no target shooting minigame either, allowing you to to earn more money to upgrade guns and stuff. feels a bit rushed, but i love the versus mode thats really fun

If youve played youd know it's crap. I got all the trophies files did the verses and merc and its still crap. Way over hyped and I beat wesker with one RPG on professional mode. which was gay not to mention I ended up hating jill in the end.

WE're sopposed to knife him when chris jumps on weskers back . Sheva is sopposed to eithe rknife or shoot wesker. When I co coped with a friend I had unlimited ammo and unlocked the rocket launcher. We got to the end right in the middle of the volcano and I shot an RPG then the cutscene of wesker falling in the lava happened. ONE RPG SHOT then the ending squence where you press l1 and l2 to fire from the chopper! YOU'RE SUCH AN ASS for making me explain all that.

I've never played any Resident Evil games. I saw Resident Evil 4 had 97/100 rating and I thought holy shit must be insanely good, but I just wasn't interested when I saw trailers few years back. Resident Evil 5 however looks fucking amazing. both my friend and I are getting it on Playstation®3 and are gonna play Co-op. My question is, do I need to play Res1-4 to understand the story in Res5, do you know?

Of the two versions of the Resident Evil 5, the Xbox 360 has gained over PlayStation 3. The Xbox 360 is graphically much better than PlayStation 3 version. there's rly no difference graphics wise out of the two. the 360 has slightly better lighting over the PS3 since the RGB is in full use while the PS3's default RGB is limited and the lighting isn't set to full which can be changed in the settings and you have urself identical games. i did this by usin the skies to make it easier to compare and contrast

Are you dumb? on a 720p 32 inch LCD tv screen the PS3 and Xbox360 versions of Resident Evil 5 are 99% identical, 360 version has more smoke (big deal) PS3 has a sharper look. on a 1080p 50 inch Plasma, PS3 looks no doubt MUCH better as it runs games @ 1080p. Unlike the 360.

Call of Duty 4 and Call of Duty 5 where 100% clearly superior on the PS3. Fallout3 looked inferior on the PS3 _BECAUSE_ it was a bad port, I mean clearly Fallout3 is an Xbox/Windows made game. Also, PS3 versions ALWAYS have more added to them as they can fit more on the 50GB Blu-Ray. Metal Gear Solid 4, for example would _NEVER_ work on an Xbox360. And Playstation3 version have a smoother gameplay, higher frame rate because of the cell. Xbox360 would blow up if you put MGS4 in it. only 4 PS3

Since sales were so good they ARE porting Metal Gear Solid 4 onto Xbox360 and I know for a fact it would work for Xbox, and would NOT blow up.

Btw, I played COD: World At War, it is not FIVE, and it wasn't running as smoothly on Ps3.

As for Xbox the framerate was amazing.

Same with Resident Evil 5, the frame rate is amazing compared to Ps3. And although you may say its a port, that is no excuse.

So you cannot say Xbox can't handle MGS4, because it can, and possibly run it better.

First off if they brought MGS4 to 360 they would need to compress it into about 5 discs, And that's even if they considered doing that in which they never will so get over yourself. Secondly RE5 Sold better for Ps3 than it did for xbox. The opening night RE5 sold 320,000 copies for ps3 ans only 73,000 for 360. Seems like 360 is loosing its thunder!! xD

I'd disagree with you on that. Even if Ps3 had better sales for Re5, it doesn't mean that its better than the Xbox Version.

Haven't you seen Ign's review? They said that the game was equal on both systems, but the Xbox ran the game way smoother, and the graphics were slightly better, but not by much.

Why would you buy both versions? Anyway, yeah, the differences are so slight that they are hardly worth mentioning, but I really dislike when people think the Xbox is inferior. They are pretty much the same in my opinion, the only thing is a lot better for FPS games, just because the controller is so much more comfortable for that genre. Everything else is pretty even. Oh yeah, Ps3 has free online, so that owns Xbox at that. Anyway I'm finished with my thoughts, and now you can live your lives.
