You're wrong. Ryan Leslie composes music pretty fast. Just listen to a video of his titled "Gibberish". In this video, he's pretty much composing a song (the melody, not the words) off the top of his head. Unlike pharrell, he doesn't explore several dead alleys, he's not slow. That's the sign of superior musical talent. Ryan Leslie is much better than pharrell, Ryan's problem is that he doesn't have a lot of range, so many of his tunes sound the same..
