looks like a classic wing tip stall indeed ! seen it lots on warbird stuff! once it drops thats it game over+ when landing keep the throttle open enough to keep your your air spped up! got a p51 with a 61 os2t motor in and I know I'll be trying to pull up to soon I'm sure!

Ouch. It looked like something that a plane of mine did once, it was an ARF trainer though. Not nearly as painful. After a good flight I fueled it back up and when I took off I forgot to re-extend the antenna on my radio!! That was the dummy award.

Good question, but no, the ailerons weren't reversed. Must have been inadequate ground speed and wing tip stall.
