I made this last night with some variation and it came out awesome. Instead of simmering the chickpeas I made a falafel mix with them, and stirred it in with the sauce, to get a more ground beefish texture out of them. Ty for the awesome tips.
We're trying not to eat deep fried anything these days...hmmm...maybe this could be a once in awhile treat for when company comes, and we want to sit around the fire anyways.
The interviewer looks very happy, so this was a joy to watch.
