This is one of the better recording I've heard. It's great that the horns were in tune for the intro; I can't tell you how many recordings where the horns are out of tune during the intro. However, this is a /little/ on the slower side, but still GREAT.
I had to watch this several times before I was able to isolate what bothers me about it. The bass drum ought to be sounding a steady and building gallop instead of punching as it does here. The song is called Spain for a reason. We must hear old women in Flamenco costumes stomping on table tops; the roar rise from the blood-stained arena as the matador delivers the death thrust; and we must smell the sweet night jasmine under a canopy of glistening stars.
@SteveFallon1 It's more than the bass drum, the drummer isn't really doing much of a Latin grove in my opinion. Such as the flamenco dancers might have danced to. When I played this song on the drumset it was all about mixing and matching various Latin groves around the different sections of the song.
at last, a very good big band to hear on youtube! love the recording, it's really good!
And be gently to the audience, those trumpet player are clapping on their instruments. I bet it's a german audience, we always think of this as an invite :D
I soooooooooooooo love that intro ! First 50 seconds were pure crystal ! And the sound too is quite good, I wish I could get this recorded from the sound board.... Well done people.

But aside from that, wow, that intro was Godly!

The audience always screws things up when they try clapping to the beat.....they should have sat on their hands.

pretty tight sounding group....a little put off by that trumpet player bowing after his solo though...
