  • The Dart always look spotier than the Valliant.

  • FYI: Another amusing ad in this series, plus more Pam Austin acting clips, can be seen under the title: "1967 Dodge Dart TV ad & Pamela Austin tribute".

  • compact my ass mines 16.5 feet long hahahaha =3-

  • PERFECT DESIGN EXELENT QUALITY

  • A Dodge Dart was a mighty fine Chrysler. It was a damn good car and a very serious Chrysler. That was one boss car.

  • Dodge Dart, a compact car on 1967, I am missing those days, really!!!

  • Got my grandmother's dart (2 door coupe) when i was 16. 225 Slant 6 - easy to fix and had some balls too. Frame rot led to its demise. Great ride!

  • I owned a -69 Dart GT V8 many years ago.Sold new in Sweden.I miss that car.

  • Just moved my '67 from a conopy at my house to a nice dry storage unit. I still have the original 273, but swapped out a 340 wedge from a friend's 70 Duster. Needs to be gone through because it went to storage while I raised my kids. It's day is coming! Same colors as the car in this commercial. I like the commercial!

  • ok, the gas gauge on my moms 1967 dodge dart is not working correctly. it will come up to the E line when turned over but doesn't indicate gas levels. she actually has the schematics for the wiring and it shows its a dark blue wire that goes to box #1.

is the problem the wire OR the fuse? can anyone point me in the right direction?

  • my mom has a 4 door slant 6. no more vinyl top though. she took auto mechanics just so she could work on it herself. she's 70 and still works on it. car is a beast at 43 years of age.

  • These cars were also made in Argentina under tehe names Dodge GTX - two doors V8- , Dodge RT - two doors Slant six 6 cylinders- and Dodge Polara - four doors 6 cylinders.

I want one since I was a kid.

  • The coolest car ever made.

  • Compact? Obviously they didn't know what that meant, that thing is like two of my ford contours

  • I have a 70 Dart sedan in Brazil, I love my car.

    mopar or no car

  • @Dress2Splash I remember that one, too. Pam is the same girl who did the 66 Charger commercial, and others.

Looks like we have an intruder who doesn't care for Darts (-1 each remark)!

My first car was a 67 Dart 225. You could actually leave some rubber on the ground with it.

  • That is a very serious car.

  • I had the Dart GT with the 273 V8 2bbl. White with black vinyl top, dark blue intererior, bucket seats, console automatic stick shift. Really nice car, best looking dart ever made. Actually handled quite well.

  • This is when they was building REAL american dreams.....Not, the Crap they are trying to selling us now days.

  • by size of that car, it IS hard to believe this compact is a compact. man, i hate today's small can cars

  • The Dart was built like a tank. That 2-door hardtop model was in production for almost another 10-years w/basically the same body shape. Compared to other US built cars from the 1960s and 70s-it WAS a compact:)

  • @lasuvidaboy

actually that 2 door hardtop model was in production for another 2 years before it was replaced with an ugly A body.

  • Compact....LOL

  • Tks for sharing this preciosity with us! Actually I have one '74 Dart Coupe Bahama Blue hier in Brazil (same model in comparison with american '69).

  • What a damn good mighty fine Chrysler! I just LOVE that Dodge Dart!
