huh.. this remix isn't as bad as i thought it'd be o.o at least it sounds more like the original then some of the other songs.. just a few tweaks and it'd be perfect :D
Are there more songs with good steps like this one? One's with a lot of those notes or harder? I forgot what there called. Those ones in the middle of whole notes. ......
The steps are good but a little to easy. X's steps are easier than Hp2 but this one's a little to easy. At least I don't have a wii DDR game yet. I might get it. Should I?
I actually liked HP1 and 2's licenses because they were something different from the norm and they didn't skimp on their charts either. They were actually charted like KOs (and like old school DDR licenses) and had a full range of difficulties. I still like HP3 and it has some good license charts, but there nowhere near the quality of HP1 and 2.
No. I strongly feel that HP1 had a great license list. Summertime, Call on Me, Little L, so many great songs. I'm not saying all were winners. Some like Caught Up definitely could've been better but as a whole, I've always enjoyed HP1's licenses. I view it in a higher place than its KO's but that's because there were only a few quality KO's.
Have you heard the whole cover to Caught Up? The cut that's in the game was from the most accurately done sections of the song. The rest of it was HORRIBLE with a capital H and bolded!
There's actually a FULL cover? That's news to me...
It's the chart that really sealed the deal and made me judge Caught Up as not-so-good as a whole despite the fact that I appreciated that they took an Usher song, much to my surprise.
Yeah, I actually think someone uploaded it onto Youtube along with a few other full version songs. I don't know if it's still up or not, but yeah it's really bad. Made me wish they used the original.
Speaking of which, that chart's notes actually got FIXED on the HP3 Hottest Party 2 Nonstop megamix. You may not like the chart on a whole still but they at least fixed those sections.
The gallops actually feel like they go to something now (even though I'm still not a fan of it), and the second freeze step in the I Want Your Love part of the chorus afterwards isn't early anymore and actually goes the way it should have in the first place.
True, and believe it or not I do actually believe having the hands in the charts saves some of them from complete mediocrity. This game isn't a lot of fun without hands.
does someone have the lyrics?

What were the gimmicks in this song? I only saw hand markers and hand freezes.

You know what, I just now realized that I forgot to turn them on. Seeing that I don't have the game anymore, I can't really tell you.

I love this game. Better than HP2!

You're kidding right?

but hp2 have a awful songlist
american covers aww
danielcatu 2 years ago
Oh please. The songlist is FAR from awful and even still, HP2 has AWESOME KO's and that's the main big thing the game has going for it.
Would people quit criticizing the licenses already?! HP1's licenses were gold. I'm sick of people criticizing them for idiotic reasons.

ARE YOU ON CRACK?

I wouldn't say he is, I thought HP1 had a really good license list. Other than a couple strange sounding covers, it DID work.

Well thanks for defending me...

These steps are better than hp 2 steps. Omg. They were so lame. I want your Love steps were so crappy!

That chart was not that bad. The worst part about it was figuring out the freeze gallops.

Ah. Glad you could pick it out because when I played it on Expert (only tried once), I couldn't really tell, to be honest.
KnuxSonic8 2 years ago
Uhh... no. Lame steps in HP2 as a WHOLE? You are SORELY mistaken. IWYL's step chart was far from one of the highlights of the game.
KnuxSonic8 2 years ago
The remix was unexpected but I like it. I can see it growing on me as well. I should add that this one has interesting Hand Marker placement.
Oh and the noise when scroll through the list like crazy is softer so that's good. :P
Fitting stage. Heh. Why is Freeze Arrow considered a Gimmick now?
KnuxSonic8 2 years ago
I'm still actually getting used to those hand placements since HP2 didn't have anything like them in the game.
darknight068 2 years ago
At least it shows you that they didn't just tack them on.

That's not good. On the other side of the token, it should help some show a bit more of an appreciation for HM's... in theory.
