What a gal. Genius and so understated. Had the great good furtune to see Lone Justice and Maria solo, several times in the 90's. IMO, THE best live female vocal you will EVER hear.

Maria McKee is amazing. A talent rocketing to stardom in the 80's, eclipsed by choices she made, or choices she didn't...or choices she wasn't willing to in the music industry. Decisions, management...

She's still amazing and memories of Lone Justice at the Coach House in San Juan Capistrano still resonate.

omg the negative comments come from people who have no ear for music or dont know real talent when they hear it. pretty sure they jump from song to song to make those types of comments. maria is as beautiful today as always and her voice is heaven

Why is it "a sham"? You've never seen her play have you? She quite often does tiny gigs in obscure places with minimal kit, she blows the house down & creates an incredible atmosphere. I've never seen a musician perform like she does.
