Given that the post was a year ago, and this is a superior way, you should have a whole bunch of newcomers that now have a year of clean time and are ready to share.
Because, the New Way is obviously superior, so addicts should be flocking in droves, sticking around, and staying clean.
I ain't done with you. You and your "trusted servants" should be concerned with your own recovery. Drug tests? Really? If an addict wants to lie about being clean, that's on them. You will be able to tell if someone has been using. If they cannot be honest, open-minded, and willing, then they will have to live with it. Your view of the NA message is obviously fucked. One love one hug mate! Cheers!
So someone who walks in off the street, and has been using, is at rock bottom, wants help, and is willing to share......can't?!?
I hope this isn't the case. I thought ya'll weren't interested in what or how much we have used? and isn't the newcomer the most important person in any meeting? Doesn't sound like it there in Australia. For me to get clean, talking about my problem in the beginning was an awakening in itself. I think an impeachment of the all mighty president is in order!
I am the president of Narcotics Anonymous in Western Australia. There is only one single point of authority in our fellowship - me (and a few of my trusted servants). We have developed a new style of fellowship called "The New Way". Only those members with at least one year clean time can share. "How do we know if the newcomer genuinely attains a year clean time?". They have to adhere to 3 urinalysis tests a week for 52 weeks. Only by these means can we keep the NA message and fellowship pure...
So hows that workin out for ya hammersley?
