@bluegrasssingingman bluegrass is not the roots of american music. Bluegrass wasn't formed until the 40's with Bill Monroe and his bluegrass boys. Old Time/ Americana would be the proper nomenclature.

Well he include a gospel tune on it ever single bluegrass cd I've ever heard or have has at least one on it.

I was at a bluegrass concert with Daily and Vincent Darren play both Mandolin and Upright and plays them well.

Also one of the other bands the tenor singer played both clawhammer style banjo and fiddle
