  • Lol the father is an officer and the son decided to go enlisted thats the funny part

  • This reporter shot Pizza Box. Haha

  • State of the art technology vs. ZZTop beards & flipflops.

  • must be tough on the mom

  • wonder how these devil dogs are doing...

  • wait y is the news lady dressed like that?

  • @7raib because she is a marine genius

  • @7raib She is a military reporter, reporting from the pentagon

  • it would be funny if the son was a higher rank and the father had to say yes sir.

  • @crumblezzz

A friend of my dad has a son who is an officer while he's a sergeant. Both of them working in the same station.

  • @crumblezzz ha my dad has to do that to me it makes it all worth it.

  • Promotions depend on your MOS. Infantry you'll pick up really slow

  • How the hell does a captain have a son old enough to enlist.

  • @ErikBarmon Not all ranks are the same age..

  • @ocsgallagher Thanks for the input. That really shored things up for me.

  • @ErikBarmon Well it's pretty obvious...

  • I'll be first in my family to go in service

  • @semperfisemperceler

Me to i'll be the first. Let's see if i can start the Marine Tradition.

  • @SemperFiBrother ggreat to hear from a fellow devil pup, best of luck brother

  • Nice pizza box ssgt.

  • @trebekalex you must not know your ranks cause she's clearly a sgt.

  • @trebekalex nvm you're right the glare on my screen made it difficult to see the rocker.

  • @dimsuminab0x you know they actually say her rank in the beginning of the video.. Ssgt Reina Barnett.. and before we all get opsec-ed I'm gonna stop commenting on this xD

  • Must be hard because no matter what if one of them were hurt while being deployed together the other would feel more pain than just losing a "brother" Semper Fi men. Stay strong!

  • I bet that would be very helpful after they get back to be able to talk to each other about wat happend since they both went through it on top if being father and son

  • im 19 going in the Marines in 4 months, i got baby on the way and some day id love to serve side by side with my child.

  • @crazymarine1991 you say that now just wait til u graduate... haha

  • father is most likely prior enlisted....

  • @pharaelga Battlefield commissions never happen any more, They really only happend in world war 2 and vietnam when officers where scarce. He had to have started off as a 2nd lt.

  • @PresidentialMoments prior enlisted officer meaning he served some time enlisted before he became an officer...please dont speak about that which you do not know. Its not a battlefield commission it happens quite frequently in the Marine Corps.

  • Dang Captain!!! Promotion comes slow in the Marine Corp huh

  • @guillermob3 big time slower than any other branch

  • Sucks for them but thats probably why his son went enlisted instead of officer.

  • @guillermob3 Well no matter what, they both earned the title of United States Marine..rank is just a name in a way there...Marine is the true thing. No matter what, they fight the same, and work together the same. Sometimes officers listen to the NCOs and the SNCOs because they got more experience than officers.

  • @synysterlud this is true

  • @guillermob3 depends if you go enlisted not if you go to ocs
