OK, watch the first video on the right, it's undoubtedly a headbutt people. Cavendish is an insane rider, most cyclists cheat (tell me a sport in which there are no cheaters), yes there was a small bit of elbowing, but Renshaw should have simply elbowed back...not Zidane headbutt the guy...
Renshaw was in the right dean was in the wrong he cut across and renshaw was saying im there. But for everything that happens in a sprint the blame always falls on HTC and cavendish like as in the tour of sussie stage 4 cavendish was the only one who got in trouble and Heinrich Haussler was just as at fault as cavendish was they both left there line and leaned on each other to me its all a bunch of bull shit hate that they have for HTC because there better then most other teams!!
@robertoquinto Why? What did Cav do wrong? You yanks are always calling for Cav to be kicked out so I ask again - why? See if you can come up with even a remotely sensible answer. Armstrong should have been kicked out years ago and he wasn't and he has to be the biggest cheat of the lot.
Seems to me as long as Cav is winning, you'll all be yelling "kick him out". What next? Kick him out for sneezing at the wrong time!
@Charlienmeg well he is very good i can,t say not but he was taking advance from renshaw he is been sprinting really bad don't you see the tour de suisse and from last year when he block hushovd he was disqualify he is bad for cycling and y not yanki i mexican
Even Dean and Farrar (the Garmin riders in question) agree that such contact is just normal sprinting. It's tough at the front of a bunch sprint, there's no room for cowards who don't defend their line.
Penalising Renshaw for the stage would have been fine, but not from the tour. Dean had hooked Renshaws arm with him - how else was Renshaw supposed to communicate that to him within the last 500m??? The bigger sin was switching Farrar once Cav went, but even that wasn't enough to justify being Dq'd from the Tour.
@Sammydepammy Indeed, that's why Julian Dean should be disqualified too! He's the one who started it, by pressing Renshaw to the side, and using his elbow. Ofcourse, Renshaw shouldn't have used his head to make clear he doesn't want that, but still, Garmin should have lost their last man before their sprinter too.
I'm aware Cavendish is a Manx man but I was merely pointing out that HTC are generally perceived as being a US team as they're based in, funded by and run by Americans. Also, considering that Renshaw is also from Australia, it does kinda highlight that iandunrosstruan's comment was a bit daft.
@iandunrossstruan How about his 6 stages last year and all his ones before this one and he didnt cheat and neither did rensaw who happens tro actually be australlian and the team is american retard
@iandunrossstruan lol, your such an arrogant twat, your just bitter like all yanks, take the world diving championships, all your divers were beaten by a 15 year old british boy, also rugby world cup 2003. also julian dean was cutting across mark renshaw and he was defending his line
@veloron not really, he meant defending his line, which he did, and hes not gonna say to dean, oh could you pleaase move over when his elbow is digging into him, typical bitter yank
Maybe that'll teach Columbia a lesson. I'm already sick of their arrogance and unsportsmanlike behavior and I don't really care how good they are at sprinting! .
You don't recognize a man by how he wins but by how he loses... Let's just hope officials' decision will teach them something.

He's out, and rightfully so. Then again, there's quite a few other things that go willfully unnoticed.

Its a rule that during sprinting you dont interrupted another cyclist course by delibered contact.
He made a danger out of himself towards other ryders.
He could easily fall and harm many ryders.
These are pro's,its a job.a career, you cannot practice your job right wen there is irrisponsable behaviour at this level.

@iniestaforlife It seems like they punished the effect, but just forgot about the cause. Thats not justice.
