In the early 30's or late 20's I am told Chrysler tried to market a car called the "air-flow" but the test market in the U.S.A. would have nothing to do with it.

It was almost identical to what would become the Volks Wagon. Then after the War (WWII) the fickle American buy the car in great numbers. Maybe it was something in the back of the collective mind about the excellence of German technology.

All I care about is that the car finally got to the people.

@4tom2u Hahhahaha VW is a nice car, but honda is going no where. You need to check your company's stock rates versus honda's because if any company is not doing so hot its VW, and they know it.
