  • @natureboy101161 FYI Someone finally uploaded the entire album.

  • they would still play music like this around xmas time up to about 1988 . now xmas music aired is all trash like mariah carey and adam sandler. i love retro instrumental xmas music.

  • @The096757 Thank you, and be assured you will never find any of that recent crap on this channel!

  • This is not the song I heard n the Catch Me If you can movie.

  • @DRTB11 It actually is. You only hear a brief clip of it and in the movie you don't hear some of the strings in the background but this is it.

  • Brings back memories.

  • I have this and all the Hollyridge Strings Christmas songs on my reel-to-reel tapes from when I recorded them at the Armed Forces YMCA in Dunoon, Scotland. I was stationed on the USS SIMON LAKE AS-33 in 1969-70 in Holy Loch, Scotland. I found these songs on one of their LP records and transfered them to my tapes. Beautiful music from the times I missed Christmas at home.

    Happy Holidays!!!!!!!!!

  • Reminds me of when my father would play WEZO here in Rochester. It was an AM station that played all the classics. I always wondered who did this version. This version of this song would always play on Christmas Day and there would be lots of snow here in Rochester, NY.

Once I heard this I went out and bought the Hollyridge string Christmas favorites cd. Nothing compares to the Christmas classics!

  • Bossa Nova Christmas, very cool inDEED, I LOVE this and added it to my Christmas favorites list! My main Hollyridge playlist now has 30 entries.

My 400 playlists give you continuous play for any of over 250 artists or any of the past 120 years, so you hear the pop music of the day as if you were there!!!

I'll be your ultimate jukebox if you let me!

  • Wow -- brings back many memories....I love the song to begin with - but this version takes me back to the 70s and 80s My family has a Chevrolet dealership in Pittsburgh -- and we would pipe music from WJOI throughout the building and lot -- and this version would always be playing in November and December....Thanks for posting it!
