GREAT and very helpful for so many out here who really need to know this part of t hings cause I am 42 almost 43 and I am just discovering OVER NIGHT everything changed on my skin cant wear what I use to and need sculpting allot now lOL Your quality of vid is excellent as well very easy simple steps for people. Can't wait to watch more of your vid..
Great video, really useful! I have a tip for you too though. Put your blush higher up because when you smile your cheeks are high but when you stop smiling it droops back down, you dont want your blush there it makes your face look older. Smile, put a finger to the highest point of your cheek while smiling and apply the blush where the finger is.
I had no idea thats what the darker shade did. Very cool! What does the highlighting do? Its so amazing to watch. Oh and in your opinion, would it look weird to contour without wearing foundation?
I'm not 40 yet but I'm not 20 either. I learned a lot from kuiipo1207's contouring video but am curious about your way & would love to try it on my mom. Why do you do the darker shade on either side of the nose & what does the dark around the face and light halo do? Lastly, I have a tiny forehead, does that mean I'm sol when its time to start doing it the "mature" way (cracks me up how you refer to yourself as old when you're not). Sorry for all the questions but sculpting is still new to me.
I learned sculpting by watching makeup tips from some over 40 and over 50 actresses and models. Anywhere you place your darker shade is going to make that area recede, in some ways creating a tightening effect on the face. I really like the effect of it. Having a tiny forehead only means you have smaller spots on which to contour not that you don't get to or need to contour, depending. :) Please feel free to always ask questions :)
Very helpful, thank you , I knew about the cheeks, but not above the brows and everywhere else, I am so going to try this , thanks again:) Have a great weekend
Awesome video!! I learned alot today ( I'm OVER 40-these tips really help!!!!)-I might have to get me some Mac sculpt and shape but I went a little over on the spending a couple of days ago with my overtime money on the new starflash collection!lol!!! Thanks!! Debbie
well I don't know about the rest of the community but I for one am GLAD you are not 20 wish there were more of our age doing videos. Not that I don't enjoy all of the videos because I do.
I didn't know about the halo's above the eyes or the neck part either. Boy I am just learning a ton from you today! I have to get some of that sculpt and shape. Is the highlight color sparkly? Also what color blush is that please?
you do just exactly what I showed, it will work for you, you may need to add a bit more to the hollows of your cheeks and perhaps your underchin, but otherwise its exactly the same process :)
wow your're so beautiful

Great job with the make up.
You can also give your face a more sculpted look by doing intense facial RESISTANCE exercises.
You can pump up your cheekbones the way you pump up bicep muscles. Also, it'll give you a more chiseled jawline.

Hilighting makes those points stand out so you are intensifying the effect of the contouring
Personally I wouldn't do it without foundation, but if you do let me know how it works for you :)
