Zoroastrianism is an offshoot of indo-iranian aryan culture. Rig Veda comes closer to provide a glimpse of indo-iranian culture. There is a story called "Battle of ten kings" where different tribes spread from central asia to northwestern india fought each other as two groups. This was really interesting to learn more about the Parsi community. There was no mention of the true reason why the vultures are disapearing. It's simple, a drug used to treat livestock called Diclofenac. If a vulture feeds on a carcass that has diclofenac it causes renal failure. There is a vulture safe alternative drug called Meloxicam but it is not widely used. What are Parsi's doing to stop the use of diclofenac and save the remaining vultures?
