What a garbage!

Besides sounding like a tin, the rubber buds do not stay on the phones and often stay in the ear when you take them off.

The cable is very flimsy.

Holding headphones,earplugs up to a low quality mic is not any demonstration of quality.

A proper description of its qualities will do fine.

Etymotic are great,I have these and the Harman Kardon both are similar in SQ. Great for those looking for purity/transparency in place of the bass mumbo jumbo earplugs that plague the market.

the bass on it is really good. the lows are tight and not sloppy like on the majority of bass-heavy headphones. they produce bass notes very clearly with the very crisp, quick accuracy. one of my favorite headphones for accurate bass reproduction.

you know these are actually designed for sound technicians an DJs to use because they have to listen to every fine detail of the audio in order for it to be just right. these head sets are sensitive enough to pick up the errors that even the DJ's themselves make in recording the songs.

yeah it is quite pricey and you have to practically look for the differences in audio between standard quality and etymotic quality. most people will be able to only tell a marginal difference so I wouldnt suggest one buys these unless you really want to come to respect the audio quality of your music.
