@gar992000 Actually hampsters do not get along well together. Dwarf hamsters have a higher chance of accepting another but usually they have to grow up together. If you want to have a pet that does well with another degus, gerbils and chinchilla's are more the way to go if you're introducing them a bit later in life. But you can try, just have two cages ready in case they can't get along. Best to do the split cage method of introduction.

I bought sweet for my hamster, but after eating those he didnt eat the regular for a long a time after that, but eventually did cuz i refused to give anything else anymore.
