Should have been on the US release. I don't get what's up with artists added songs on Japanese releases and not anywhere else. A lot of artists do that. Not to be rude, but what makes Japan so special that get "their own" songs? Is there an actual real reason for this or just record company tactic to sell more albums? I understand American and European artists are hugely popular over there, but still. It's almost like they're are saying that certain fans are more important that others.

I love the sounds he creates on this whole album-- definitely started with Mutations and then came to fruition with this album. I love him-- he's earned a place as one of my favorite artists of all time.

Sea Change has been hailed by many as his best in terms of commercial efforts. I'm still a mellow gold/stereopathetic soul manure/one foot in the grave fan, but I do agree that he broke ground and redefined his image to many with Sea Change. His straightfoward seriousness on Sea Change shocked fans of Odelay and Midnite Vultures.

Mine too, Beck is the best hes so multifaceted. After this album it seemed that he was never going to get out of this depression. Then he gave us Guero : ). Always beautiful music.
