I just finished watching Bye Bye Birdie which was just on TMC channel. When she sings the theme, you can hear Ann-Margaret's uncanny ability to start off the song sounding like a little girl (voice) singing to her idol or something. And then her voice and actions seamlessly transform into a more provacative woman, as if she is is now teasing the Conrad Birdie character in the movie. I don't know anything about singing but that kind of talent can't be taught.

I have read Ann-Margret's biography in which she said that Doctor's could not find anything wrong with Ann-Margret or her husband Roger, and that she had spent many agonising years undergoing all kinds of fertility treatment's but to no avail. She never did say in the book why she could not conceive, I think they gave up in the end.
