  • Cough... LAG!!!...Cough

  • I have a Wii and PS Move, and from my experience, the Wii Remote's pointer is much more precise.

I usually have to set the Move's pointer sensitivity to MAXIMUM just to get that same precise feeling I have with my Wii.

  • why does nobody ever mention the fun of the damn controller online -__- ... its allways about ACCURACY and shiney graphics. dude take it from me if your on a game that allows both anolog and motion controllers its a going suck. I've played anolog gamers on blops for the wii and its a shit fest, they can 360 and almost aimbot your ass. motion controllers are about fun not all this garbage kids are try to port from the graphic wars.. :P

  • @zechamike: Thx for your comment but I basically have no idea what you said. I'm not a native speaker. Could you repeat that? I recently started playing BLOPS (Black Ops) on Wii and while the Classic Controller players get more aim assist, I kick always kick there asses anyway. My Kill-Death Ratio is currently 4:1. If Aim Assist is turned off, the difference is even way more obvious.

  • @thesmashmaster *claps* just because YOU killed a few newbie classic controller guys dosent mean they all suck and good anolog players are a bit better than motion control players online. Try looking for a montage for cod4 or waw for the wii and compare it to ps3 and 360, what I'm getting at is that motion controllers in an enviroment like the PS3 or 360 handheld are foreign and will result in more crappy gameplay and the few that inhabait the wii will get better. button slapping is faster :P

  • @zechamike Oh they all suck compared to me. Pad players rely on Aim Assist and if there wasn't ADS (Aiming Down Sight), they would suck even more. You guys cant aim without! Even if he stands 1 feet in front of you, you'd still go into ADS. I don't like it that Treyarch encouraged that by weakening Steady Aim. In WaW I was able to get headshots with longshots by shooting from the hips with DP28. In Goldeneye Steady Aim is also way better.

  • About montages: In the Wii versions there's simply no replay option. The DVD-recorder is no option for me cause it causes a huge button delay and my cell phone has horrible video quality (especially when filming the TV), but I guess I should at least use the cell phone once in a while from now on (although it's annoying that filming drains the power so quickly)

About using the knive by pressing a button: Almost every Wii player does that. My thumb is always at this button.

  • @thesmashmaster You can use a PVR for recording gameplays.

Also as far as melee, I personally use the nunchuck. It's more satisfying for me. When I knife someone, I feel that knife. I'm one with that knife, so if there is guy who's been kickin my ass, I feel like I really got him back.

  • @zechamike One more thing about using the melee attack: If you're using the Classic Controller, it will actually aim assist even with that, that's kind of unfair, but hey, they can use every assist they get.

  • @thesmashmaster true, also if I was to play a fps game on ps3/xbox and I am the only motion controller user in the lobby, I might get owned fairly quickly. I dunno.

  • @zechamik Depends on what you mean by Motion Controller. In my opinion, the Wiimote is way better for FPS than the Move controller.

  • Watch videos of MAG , socom 4, killzone 3 , and even modern combat. Ps3 wins fuck off I'm done

  • The ps moves pointer will NEVER be as practical or a accurate as the wiis for the same reason wii will never be as accurate as ps move for 3d motion tracking.....THE POSITION OF THE CAMERA.

Both controllers work on the same principle. "A camera tracks light". Ps move is better at 3d motion tracking because the camera watches YOU and tracks the light from the controller. The wiimote is a better POINTER because the camera (in the wiimote) tracks the light from the sensor bar (your tv).

  • speaker inside the wii controller

  • i played M.A.G with ps move i hope killzone 3 is better cause it its no sony failed once agin with the move conduit golden eye black ops medal of honor heros 2 red steel 1 and 2 i mean come on the wii was built for fps not to mention the speakin in the controller

  • @MrSmokinhotdude hey I figured out Y the ps move lags its not the ps move or ps3 it is simply ur tv conection for example we all know standard definition conection does not lag but if you have an hd tv and a cheap low speed HDMI cable then it "lags" and not only with ps move but with normal controler gameplay as well. and since the wii is not an hd console then it does not lag because of standard conection. i noticed a lag with move on kill 3 but, wen I played it on old tv it didnt lag

  • @puertorricanstar naw its not my tv its simply the ps move cause the amount of customizing besides ps move fps vs wii fps there is a huge difference in the way they work fist wii fps actually have camera speed x and y zone dead zone and speed ps move is more of the analog camera just turn speed and dead zone oh and relic speed better yet check out a wii fps and then try out ps move fps and tell me which one feels more comfortable

  • this is bull shit he was playing the wii on a standard tv which has no latency and hd tv have a latency delay and make the move abit laggier in the video

  • ninty did it properly: move = astetic mans wii remote.

    Get a wii!

  • 2:05 LMFAO sooooo much lag

  • @Pooverse: The song is from Street Fighter 2: Zangief's Russian victory dance.

He dances with Gorbatschow after beating Bison.

I thought it would fit well.^^

  • welches spiel war das bei der move?

  • @LeutenProduktion: Socom 4, Resident Evil 5, und The Shoot.

  • @thesmashmaster hey I figured out Y the ps move "lags" its not the ps move hard ware or ps3 it is simply your tv conection for example we all know standard definition conection does not lag but if you have an hd tv and a cheap low speed HDMI cable then it "lags" and not only with ps move but with normal controler gameplay as well. and since the wii is not an hd console then it does not lag because of standard conection. i noticed a lag with move on kill 3 but, wen I played it on old tv it didn't

  • @budtoker13 You said: "it cant point its uses the ball and if it can point its using the gyros", but isnt it the other way around?

  • @budtoker13 Wow, thanx 4 the detailed answer! So, is it possiple to use ONLY the gyro's for pointer games and ignore the bulb? (and yes, your right about lcd lag, i even bought a new tv and there was noticably less MOTION lag, and also less pointer lag but the pointer lag was still slightly annoying (and I have Sony Bravia with game graphics and motion flow turned on which eliminated ALL the augmented reality feedback lag i had before and the motion lag--but pointer still drifts on screen...why?

  • @budtoker13: Well I don't know how much lag flat TVs have, but (good) PC monitors have 6-12ms.

  • @budtoker13: More than 100ms caused by the television? Must be a pretty bad one.

  • @thesmashmaster Actually most high end flat-panel displays have anywhere in the region of 180ms lag. That doesn't mean they're "bad" more that there's a lot of display lag

  • @budtoker13 Dude he's right though because I own the Move and the pointer controls (lit up bulb) lag badly but the gyroscopes are fast. I dont know why but i hope it was the programmers fault in making games--because i really wanted move for shooting games mostly.

  • @budtoker13: You are right. I wish there were Move videos on CRTs.

  • tell you what scrap everything ive said and just go check out this video /user/Blunty3000#p/u/6/8cvBKgn7hd8 as this guy is clearly unbiased as hes a gadget freak and does shit loads of reviews on tons of games, gadgets and consoles aswell as other stuff.

  • this is quite interesting, i wonder why the move doesn't have a precise pointer

  • @malcbear: To determine where you're pointing at, the PS3 needs information about how you hold it (sensors inside Move) and where it is (shiny ball). Apparently this processing procedure is complicated and takes time.

My guess would be that Nintendo has some kind of patent.

It will be interesting to see and how the controller for Kinect is going to look like. I think it will eventually come because of the restrictions you have with not having any kind of controller.

  • @thesmashmaster

I think it's due to the light interference. Which could be a bad thing, cuz unlike the wiimote, the pseye can get confused on what light to sense. This was confirmed by the ign review of the sony move. As for the wiimote pointers it only senses the infrared light, which is a light that's not commonly emitted. Thus giving the pointers less interference and more precision. This is bad for the move, i shouldn't have to play in the dark just to have a precise pointer.

  • @malcbear

IGN also said that background light messes up the motion control capabilities of the move as well. check out their review and they explain it

  • lag and precision (Move) vs unpecise and fast (Wii)

In the end, motiongaming is a gimmic, nothing more, nothing less.

  • @Mertensify: Move is not more precise when it comes to the pointer functionality! If anything the camera is actually worse than the one built in the Wiimote.

  • @thesmashmaster I have a Wii and I do not like to play shooters with it. I actually bought it for Smash Bros and I play most of the games without the waggle feature. Sure, playing with the motioncontrols with friends is good, but I enjoy most of my games without it. I had a chance to play with the Move controller at GC2010 and I think it is more precise than the Wii mote (no motionplus) but even the GC could not turn me into a motiongamer. Its just a gimmic to me.

PS: the Wiimote has no camera.

  • @Mertensify:

What do you mean with more precise? And in regards to what games?

BTW the thing within the Wiimote that tracks the 2 lights of the sensorbar could be called a camera. Or at least I don't know the exact name of it.

  • @thesmashmaster In regards to Wii Sports for example. The movement of the controller is not really "tracked", it feels as if the Wii interprets the movement. You can move the controler like its ment to be, which is fun, if you enjoy looking stupid with some friends arround (which it really is), but in the end you dont need to, because movements that don't even look like the movement you are ment to make are just as effective. With Move you really have to 'move' ^^

PS: ah ok I know what you mean.

  • @Mertensify: I think I know better how the Wiimote works. I only use as much motion as I have to (e.g. in the original Wii Sports Golf you could swing in any direction and didn't even need to hold the Wiimote downwards).

You said it yourself, if you do the Motion you're supposed to do, it (can) look stupid. Thanks to the camera, Move will force you to make large movements (if even it just triggers a button-press). I don't like that idea.

  • @thesmashmaster try infered, thats what the Wii sensor bar uses, but apparently you know everything so what would i know (apart from the atari 5200 was the first console to use analouge controllers way back in 1982, yeah i was supprised when i found out too) the presision is 1:1 tracking, the wii mote moves in a 2D environment where as the move controller moves in a 3D environment though why your bitching about move is beyone me as kinect is a wii sensor bar with a camera in the middle.

  • @360cheaters: I knew about the Atari 5200. The analog stick of the N64 was nonetheless revolutionary because it recenters itself after you let go of it and it is controlled by just a thumb.

I should have just called it "control stick" so that it doesn't sound as if it were the first analog stick ever.

BTW I've already checked out the video you mentioned. ;)

He doesn't seem to have too much experience with Wii since he calls the Wii cursor spongy. LOL It's the other way round.

  • @thesmashmaster maybe you should tell blunty3000 that he dont know what hes talking about or on the other hand you just admitted your a fanboy of the wii and your totally biased, and sony always copies nintendo hmmm sure they do "i diddnt know nintendo created blu-ray" boom ignorence head shot lmfao.

  • @360cheaters: The medium has no effect on gameplay. Whether it's a cartridge, a disc, or a download. Control sticks, D-Pad, Rumble, the Wiimote on the other hand... Well you get it.

And I'm not a "fanboy of the Wii". I just don't see why I should have a 360 or PS3 when 95% of their gems can be played on PC in true HD. lol

The Wii is the last gaming console, PS3 & 360 are just weak wanna-be PCs.

  • @thesmashmaster bullshit i couldnt give a shit about the 360 as microsoft are a bunch of usless cunts, i hold no grudge against nintendo or any of there produces just i hate sad wanker fanboy retards that bullshit information trying to get there week inferiour bullshit accross youtube and failing big time, id love to see you play GT5 on your PC lol just more excuses from a lame fanboy EPIC FAIL, IGNORENCE HEAD SHOT.

  • @360cheaters:

Man I must have really hurt your feelings.

You sound like a 12-year-old Sony fanboy.

What exactly was wrong with what I said?

BTW I have no interest in GT5, there are better racing games on PC.

  • @thesmashmaster LIKE RFACTOR, GTR, GTR 2 ECT AS A RACING SIM FAN IM INTERESTED IN RFACTOR, WHATS IT LIKE ??? (I ACCIDENTALY HIT CAPS LOCK AND CANT BE BOTHERED TO RETYPE THIS).

  • @360cheaters: I haven't played that game. What do you want from me? lol

  • @thesmashmaster your opinon would be nice (if its not spoilt with fanboy rage)
