Sony's better mp4 players often are NOT sold in America, especially USA. iPod imperializes the States Canada how ever I believe has a moreopen foreign trade so more likely you could find some of Sony's cooler stuff up there. Sony had some pretty slim regular push button mp3 players that went up to 64GBs. Here in the States we were lucky to get a 16GB but now you can't even get that, they've reduced Sony's availability to 8GB or lower. They're telling us USAers to BUY THE FRIGGEN imperial POD.

damn i didnt think about it like that but thats true. i noticed that in Europe and Asia (and practically every else in the world) they sell better versions and more have capacity of(like you said 32 and even 64 gb versions) of their cheaper counterparts they sell here. the sony walkmans they sell in the states are weak. i really wanted the A-Series NW-A840 64GB, but they never sold in the states. :(

I don't own any smartphones or cellphones and i only know little about androids and such. Is this a cellphone with the possibilities of a media/music player and all the applications that come with it, or is a media/music player with the ''engine'' of an android?

@BrokkenArt It is a media/music player, its pretty much the android equivalent of the iPod Touch but a lot more powerful. it also has all the android apps that you can download, pretty much like the app store on the iphone/ipod/ipad.
