This film left me sitting quietly for a while, once the credits rolled. Then, we talked late into the night about what it meant, why it meant that, and how fragile each of us are, as humans with a past. A beautiful thought provoking, heartfelt film.
This film is not "realistic." It's about self-absorbed whiners who go through all the normal problems of the average indie movie character. Insightful my ass.
@wolfpack2013 Hmmm I see what you mean buddy (: And I wouldve thought that same thing because to me it actually is very realistic. As absurd and whinny as these people seem it is reality. There are people like that (:
This is going to sound odd, but I appreciated how this film had presented female AND male anatomy. It seems in films only the actress gets her kit off...nice for once having an actor who'll take one for the team.
i just finished this movie. i have never seen human intimacy so close and real in a movie before. actually, i think the movie succeed not to be a movie more a real life story. i loved it.
I totally agree Beerman. Most people when they edit trailers they sprinkle at least a few "tricks" in. They do things like splice together dialog from 2 different scenes to make it seem like they're part of the same conversation, and usually it doesn't make sense. They do the same sort of things with reality TV shows. I guess they think people will want to watch out of curiosity for what the hell they're talking about.
I find Justin Kirk to be oh so sexy...he can give some of the most intense looks! I like how he looks nowadays. He's put on a little weight and it looks good on him, makes me wanna cuddle!
weedipikia, you're really off! hiimbambam, song is "Thursday" by Asobi Seksu. This is one of the most real film when it comes to human interaction and relationship. I loved every minute of it.
Haha, I know. I was kidding. You have to admit the chronology of the first 1/3 of the video makes it seem like they sleep together on the first date though.
This trailer tells a story... about two people on a date. They go home in a cab, she unbuckles his pants, they get into bed. The ending is ruined though when it shows the result of their activities: a baby. I like to be surprised.
hello, i'm so impressed with Justin Kirk's acting skills. he's so incredibly witty, charming, articulate, sexually provocative and downright irrisistable in his whole person. his smile does me wonders, he's totally comfortable with who he is and i'll even go as far as to say that every time i see him i feel excited. does anyone empathise with me, or am i alone is my feelings????
I agree with you too. I first saw him as Bardot on the short lived Jack&Jill and never forgot him. Then he showed up on Weeds and I was even more impressed. His character in FP and Angels in America just goes to show you how talented he really is. He's not afraid to play against type and is incredibly versatile, not to mention charming and extremely sexy.
Well, I personally really enjoyed this movie and thought it was something new and brilliant. I don't understand why those of you who didn't like it would be looking it up on here anyway?
well it's a bit senseless I agree, this movie sucks and that's quite obvious based on home box numbers and the fact it wouldn't win any award of any kind... though I myself liked it a lot.. I'm freegin confused.
It looks like Jeff Lipsky the movie's director will have to change his phone number but it's not my fault, he led me to him. by the way I called him today and he was quite nasty with me and hung up on me. The nerve to give me his phone number and then hand up on me. Jeff you owe me an apology and a congratulations for breaking your easter egg. How about that Jeff?
This is the most unbelievable thing discovered about this movie. There's a part in the movie where the guy lead give out his brother-in-law's phone #. Guess what? It's not a 555-3333 number, nope it's a real phone number and guess who's voice mail it is "Hi you've reached Jeff Lipsky please leave a voice mail". Can you believe this guy thinks we movie viewers are this stupid?
Does anyone know the title of the song where they were standing outside before their wedding? It has something like "I am finally letting go" or something like that. Thanks.

It's like it hasn't been released here... or doesn't even exist!
I've been searching UK stores websites, and nothing, no mention of it at all!!!
Any suggestions??

The song is titled "Thursday" and is performed by a band called Asobi Seksu. "Thursday" is one of the tracks on their just-released album "Citrus."
