ether saga bored me to death, the problem is that the designers made it to be essentially an animated version of perfect world, which is fail as a game because u have to spend sh1t tons of real money on the item mall if u wanna have even a shred of a chance at playing past lvl 30. Even private servers lose people because pw just doesn't HAVE enough content for what it is, Ether saga is the same way. So diss me if u want but the fact is I've bin thru almost every game online and ether saga fails.

Cabal is good yes, it's strongest point is the sheer BEAUTY of the game characters and especially weapons. The only problem is that cabal's fun waxes and wanes. What I mean is that cabal can be fun 1 week then boring the next then fun the next after that. It's so random that one has trouble even RATING the game lol since you don't know whether to like or hate the game.

I can say right now, after trying it out. The game is only a grindfest if you like super fast private server type training. Even though it has a cartoony theme, it's not only intended for those younger than 10 like most people believe. The quests and skill system is more complicated than games like, dare I say, Maple Story. -just died saying that name-

It's really up to personal opinion. A lot of people didn't or don't like it because the gameplay and the graphics are relatively simple compared to newer games. Of course, the game was made years ago and second jobs were only released recently. You might call it "old-fashioned" by today's standards, since little has changed and many new try to be more innovative and visually stunning. I enjoyed it for about two years before losing time and interest in MMOs altogether.

Guys, I've seen MMOs like this, and they have boring, linear combat. If I'm going to grind monsters or whatever I want to at least have FUN while doing it. There's no skill letting your dumb self use one skill 15000 times in a row to level up or something.

Oh wait, last I checked, the things you describe to me only make the game fun for healers :( The game is always fun for healers because they have to keep several supports up at a time... but the main combatants just use one skill... click click click. Oh, and don't ramble on about mages having to use multiple skills against elements, the element system is more like a crutch than a challenge.
