  • Where did you buy that? Is it rare?

  • I have the 1/144 1986 version. not snapfit, 2 color plastic, black polycaps included. does not transform.

  • Lose the glasses man. You wouldn't look so nerdy.

  • @Luigi84289 Yeah, i have tried contacts but I get eye infections reguardless of how I take care of them. The eye doctor said the only thing else to try would be the single wear disposeables but that is like a buck 50 a day. I think I will have to just stay nerdy looking.

  • Is this the original HG ZZ Gundam? I know it isnt the HGUC because of the date this video was posted.

  • @LFOFINAL No it is no the original, this is the High Grade version from the late 80s early 90s. there is an older version. if you look at Hobby link japan this one is BAN33564 search for BAN0628 to see the original release. the original is not a snap fit kit.

  • Love ZZ!! :D

  • I love the paint job on that one. What paint do you use?

  • the all three together is called a mobile armour

did you ever watch zeta and zz gundam?

  • My favorite is the assimar !

  • were u buy it ? i like to know i have a lot of anime model kits

  • I bought it at an anime convention several years ago.

  • @ackofgod gundam store and more or hobbywave thoseare internet sites but thats only if u want specificaly this kit theres lots of gundam kits as im sure u have seen buy ur other anime merchendise

  • excellent

  • i tried ordering that figure..turns out i got the action figure which is better in some ways but worse in others.. the action figure doesn't transform and the saber hilt comes from one of the cannons off the backpack..also the hand gun and the energy sword are bigger than the figure..but as a plus it is poseable to an extent and the backpack is a dark grey instead of the normal blue of the figure..great review

  • great review watch my first gundam review ever after christmas

  • 4:13 G-fortress

  • great review! greatings from argentina! sorry for my poor english.

  • great vid bikertrash

oo by the way how is the mg fazz coming along now? hopefully well.

ooo yeah im actually wondering about getting this guy in mg form, do u think it would be worth it? well since you have fazz and all.

  • the main body is done, just stalled out on the armor because I wanted to paint it and have not built my airbrush station yet.

  • What is the name of this gundam?

  • the ZZ Gundam (Double Zeta)

  • Oww. your words... they hurt :(

Oh well I am over that. :D

    now move along.

  • eat a dick fag. he is trying to implement a entertainment factor to these videos..so eat a dick and keep eating it til your ass grows up

  • the mode thats essentially a big jet with everything combined is called the "mobile fortress" mode.

  • It's the right shape for a core fighter.

  • I think.

  • It is a core fighter.

  • One thing i liked about this video!

it's the part where the leg airplane was bizzare because it had no cockpit

    i LOLED

  • i like gundams now where can i buy them? on a game called ROBLOX (it is a kid game) there is a gundam fighting place and you play as that gundam (i think not exactly sure but the head looks like it) and you use swords,a rifle, fly, animations, and i think a reset (kills yourself) its fun if you play ROBLOX the person who made the gundam fighting place is senro so go in people and search senro

  • where can i buy gundams? they look so cool im becoming a fan of them like on roblox there is a gundam fighting place you get to play as a gundam and he has swords,a rifle, and wings and you fight others that are the same unless there is nobody there

  • nice video dude. I want one of those.

  • this guy dont no anythin its not called a robot its a gundam

  • dude, just shut up and watch the video. he said gundam.

  • "This guy does not know anything, it's not called a robot, it's a gundam."

Who really "dont no anythin" here?

    Obviously it's you DAFS201

  • REALLY KOOL

  • what scale is this? is this 1/144 HG ?

  • Correct!

  • How come full armor zz doesn't do all that?! I have full armor and it doesn't do any of that...

  • the MG full armor can transform... if you remove everything that makes it the FA.

But then the arm shields are not included and several other parts to make it look like this.

I have kinda stalled out in my building of the FAZZ, wicked kit, but I am kinda stuck. I keep thinking I want to change the color scheme but I am not sure how yet. (what colors)

  • i hered the mode with all the jets cobind for the big 1 was cald the moble armer mode

  • zz gundam rules mega cannon!!!!

  • Good job! Love ZZ!! :D

  • when the three part are together in that jet like mode it is called the g-fortress

  • core fighter is the correct term. do the turn a gundam next.

  • Sorry, Dont have a Turn A.

  • i hear these model are expensive.

  • good job man

    jaa ne

  • nice toy... i envied you...

  • Redneck Gundam. Best. Ever.

  • This is the redneck gundam?!?!? AWESOME!

  • he can rerout power to the saber to make it longer they just dont michen it in the english version

  • makes since.

  • Sick assembly dood, High Grade FTW!

  • Thanks :D

  • hey i wanted to start watching the shows so i want to know what order the names come in for the sesans so i can whatch them up to the newist and im not skipping them plz reply any1

  • not really sure...

I know the first three are Mobile suit gundam, then Zeta gundam, then ZZ gundam, from there it gets fuzzy though. they have the 8th MS team . 0083 stardust memory, 0080 war in the pocket and some others that are kinda like side stories in that they go between the first three I mentioned but were made later.

  • I have all of the Wing Gundams, but I plan on geting the models for RX-78-2, Zeta, and ZZ.

  • Sry mate but u made gundam sound childish with all those commentary you've made, but nonetheless, nice job assembling it.

  • nice video, i seen a gundam review on 1 of ur videos a long time ago and because of it i ordered a HG 1/144 a couple days ago. thanks for sharing.

  • Cool baby!!! DO IT MORE!!!! 5 STARS :)

  • i loved doing these back in highschool. i want to do a perfect grade so bad but i dont wanna pay so much lol

  • I bought a £40 Master Grade today, The RX-78-2 Gundam Ver 2.0

it apparently has the most complex inner skeleton out of all of the gundams, looks like it too.

Move up from HG's to MG's, HG's are just too boring.

  • I have done several MG kits now. They are fun but I still enjoy a HG kit from time to time just because of the extra effort they take. I am about to get started on some of the g-unit gundams.

  • Do you mean extra effort in the sense of customisation to make them look better or what?

  • Exactly. Like the hardy gun, I spent days painting that one... Only to screw up and mangle one important part. But it still looks "OK"ish.

  • Oh dear god I remember doing that as a kid. I was really young and making a Deathscythe from one of the cheaper Gunpla kits, it may not have even been Bandai.

Point is I wasn't paying attention and cut right through a socket joint, had to glue the hand back on to the socket.

  • If you like the look of the S-Gundam i really recommend that MG kit its big and has alot of transformy detail. The promotional photos of it make it look a bit wimpier than it actually is, I was really satisfied when i had built it and put it on a stand though.

-and the characters in ZZ are good too i.m.o, just takes some time to let them reveal their best qualities.

hahaha "60 foot long tower of electric death"

  • I have a hard time deciding between the S and the Ex-S. The ExS just seems like total and complete overkill, which while never a bad thing still leads to awesome looking but some how empty feeling kits... I just finished the virtue and am feeling slightly disapponted that I almost prefer the Nadleh to the über blast upgrade mode.

  • yeah for me the price difference helped me make the decision ha, S was just 40$. I'm actually hoping they put out a master grade Nadleeh/Virtue, i like both of them especially the sleekness of the nadleeh. I'm thinking abotu gettign the ZZ just based on how badass it is in the series, and i like the design im just not sure about it yet. I'll put up some pictures of my s gundam somewhere, for admiration's sake at least maybe ha

to torrent i used thepiratebay, hopefully its still operating dude

  • Right now I have my 1/144 ZZ the FAZZ from Gundam Sentential and will most likely get the MG ZZ as well. It and the Zeta are honestly my favorite Mobile suits. I plan on displaying the 1/144 in G fortress mode, the MG ZZ behind it, and the FAZZ next to the MG.

  • the name for the frotn of the ship is Core Top. i really recommend the animes Zeta and ZZ, if you torrent and haev the drive space. they're really great pieces of story and glorious stuff, great characters especially in Zeta

  • I really want to get them but I can't find any torrents that have peers. I mostly use mininova for my searches.

  • i like it

  • neeeeerrrrrrrrrrd

  • i like the way you do high grades. i usually go for master grades because of the less paint involved :)

  • your video suck

  • your grammar suck

  • lets see u make a gundam like this then

  • If you like like the big one's I'd avoid getting F91 gundam or any models from crossbone and victory gundam.

I think even the 1/100 crossbone is about the same size as 1/144 zz.

  • Nice double zeta

  • I think the transformed mode is called the G-Fortress.

  • 0.o

    i think the same ..

    is it wrong?

  • G-Fortress is right.

  • the sword grows when it slashes something then goes back to normal size... saw it close on my game maybe the same in the anime

  • i have a badish condition rick-dom II

  • Core Gunner, Zeta upper core/High mega cannon turret, and Zeta base thrusters+balanceing Double Booster for balance.

  • like the remote control camera thingy =)

  • Yeah, I like my remote too :D

  • I have to say, you really thought out some great ideas with the grey color and glueing both the hand and the long beam saber together, great job. ZZ Gundam is one of my favorite anime robots.

I used to own some Transformers and Gobots figures along with a Dairugger XV aka Vehicle Voltron figure when I was a kid but got rid of them, I wish i didn't get rid of my robot figures because "I dig giant robots".

  • Well whats not to love about giant robots? :D

I am slowly putting together the Full Armor ZZ master grade. Kinda on the back burner right now though.

  • "Well whats not to love about giant robots? :D"

You'll find many nods of agreement from Arabic speaking fans like me since it was giant robot animes that caused the anime craze in that part of the world, all because of an old Go Nagai anime called Grendizer, which also caused the anime craze in Central Europe. I believe there was an action figure around in the US during Mattel's Shogun Warriors toyline craze, I do know Mattel sold in Italy under the anime's Italian name Goldrake.

  • Only 26 episodes of the 75 episodes were broadcast in the US as part of as part of the multi-mecha show Force Five, out of the total of 74 in the original series, where it was titled Grandizer.

  • the head looks small for its body

  • hey is this a 1/100 or a 1/144? sorry if i sound like a noob but i've jUST started collected gundams....like literally in the past few days lol so if anyone can answer my question, it'd be much appreciated

  • Man the only stupid noob question is the unasked one... atleast thats the theory.

    This is a 1/144.

I have a 1/100 variant of it that I might start assembling tonight, will be much larger.

  • woohooo warhammer 40k reference(ultramarines is a space marine chapter

  • Yep Yep. I actually have one gundam that when I get its master grade version, I will be turning its HGUC version into a 40K Ork inspired killing machine ^_^ Kinda a "what if" thing

  • get perfect grade Gundam WIng Zero custom...a kick ass,and a very BEAUTIFUL model. Its a good kit for starters =)

  • I dont know, I very much am enjoying the master grades right now. If I get a master grade it will most likely be either the Zeta, or the GP01

  • Pssst... GP01 a bit of an oldie. Kinda so so... The Zeta 2.0 is fine, (keep clear of the oldie of that one too...)

  • Agreed. I would really REALLY like to get the yellow zeta conversion for the zeta 2.0.(have no idea how to work with resin though) I love my Zeta Plus C1 I already built but I have heard there are some mold changes between the zeta 1.0 and the Plus versions.

P.S. sorry I didnt make you video you asked for last week.

  • I got the Zeta Plus C1 when it 1st came out & love it. It's struck from an entirely different mold to the Zeta 1.0. A vast improvement over the zeta 1.0 I'd say. Then the Zeta 2.0 is another much newer project altogether.

    Not a problem...

  • I'm not sure if a beginner would want to mess with a perfect grade.

  • something funny to note is gundam started 5 or so years before transformers

  • all the guns are beam so like beam fifle beam machine gun etc

  • I thought the Head cannons where solid rounds... My mistake.

  • i like the black detailing you did to it. i do the same. i think the Z and ZZ gundams coincided with G1 transformers and the gestalts (form up robots)respectively... gundam did one helluva job too!! Z gundam is my all time favourite and the zetas including ZZ and FAZZ are damn super!! great review!

  • I just ordered the MG Zeta Plus C1. Will eventually get the Zeta ver 2.0 as well.

  • i have that one...so much detail...so many parts... AND it transforms! a dream and a marvel of a mobile suit!...just got a 1/100 ReGZ at convention...nice...congrats on the ZPC1!!

  • Have you started on the ReGZ yet?? I am having a hairbrained Idea to get all the Production versions of the gundams as well, so have like the Zeta and the ReGZ, and the Zeta Plus together, then have the RX-78-2 and its varients together (LOVE the RX-78-5)

  • have not started yet...i will post a vid reviewing it in about a month when i review Z gundam anime and the PSx game... G-Gundam was my first gundam but Z is my absolute favourite...yeah 2.0 will be a rockin kit...holds together better...

  • I own both the musha gundam and the ZZ gundam they were worth the time I spent to build them.

  • the Master Grade Shin Musha Gundam? I so want him but I don't know how he would look in my collection.

  • yeah master grade shin musha gundam, believe me,it's worth it,and it will look good in your collection, you should get it.

  • I will down the road after I am done with my FAZZ that just arrived in the mail :D

  • awesome, what others are you wanting for your collection?

  • Well, I just ordered the MG Zeta Plus C1, and the MG Rick Dias (Quattro). I eventually want to get all the MG kits from Seintinal, 0083, and the main gundams from most of the series.

  • i have the rick dias. you should get it, it's awesome

  • I just ordered one :D

  • Its not non posable its unposable.....*facepalm*

  • i have this model and my 2nd favorite model

  • oops i mean the 1/444?

  • do you meen the 1/144 :P

Yes, that is what this is, I want to get the Full Armor ZZ in the 1/100 scale to go along with it.

  • is this the hg 1/400?

  • 5/5

brings back memories. I did really like ZZ & Z Gundam.

when I was a kid I made 1/100 RX-78 Gundam and that was pretty awesome.

  • hey!!! that's nice!!. . . . you've painted it very well!!! "SUPERB"

by the way!!! the name of the 3 parts was!

    >core top

    >core fighter

    >core base

  • Thanks alot :D

also thanks for the names of the parts, the only thing anyone had named was the core fighter, didnt knwo wht name of the other parts.

  • the beam laser looks like a lightsaber

  • O.O!!!!! Omg don't say that! do you want George Lucas to sue?

    ;)

  • Take a photo before you do your paint work - hmmm it might be just parts - anyway, I love the final result. How durable are the things compared to Deluxe Energon Transformers? I sure hope they're a lot tougher than anything Animated.

  • What i think I am goign to do with the gundams is build them straight as they come from the box with no paint at all, film an introduction to the review, then cut to the finished model. Durability is a mixxed bag... The plastic is of very good quality and I do not doubt that they would survive a decent fall, atleast the 1/144s that is, but some of the joints are lacking.

  • one thing that is giving me fits is the one I showed in my V-Log because jsut the sheer design of some of the parts means that they dont hold together as well as some of the others do. Also the way that the weapons are held looks very good but in practice is highly irritating. The hands must be split in half and reassembled around the handles of many of the larger weapons.

  • I have been thinking more about the durability question.. Biggest. best statement is that these are not toys, they are models so for modles they are very durable, as toys, not so much.

  • That is a succinct and, according to descriptions from 2old4toys and Wizartar, highly accurate statement.

  • are the details already on or do u have to manually put it on

  • This particular one there was alot of painting done on it.

just for an example the core fighter @ 0:47

the red part was originally just a solid red peice, all of that had to be painted. everything black on it is either paint or sharpie.

The main robot except for the backpack has very little paint done on it besides the backs of the hands painted white, panel lining, and a few small details that will probably just go unnoticed unless you look for them.

  • a whach a mudidal lololololol ;) nice dudetatsfuny im ona use that

thanx for the comidy mutireal dude i ow u maby idk lolloololo well thanx

  • how do u paint them?

  • Right now I'm painting everything by hand. I'm saving my pennies for an airbrush setup though.

  • haha 60 foot long tower of electric death haha

  • ya . tis core fighter. glad to have another gundam fan =w=

  • hey if u get a chance check out my videos one of them is code geass it kind of suck but in the future i will make better one and plz leave coment on all of them

  • hey i like how u paint the gundams

  • I think that foot note thing is the battle mode i think?

  • let me ask you (now that im hooked on Gundam), if i got one of those models, are they possable enough that i could do some good stop motion with it?

  • yes some are and no some arnt. When I upload my Throne Eins review it will be one of the newer 1/144's or you could just check out Prime92 and 20ld4toys's reviews. it is kinda like transformers, the newer they are, the more poseable in general they are, as well the higher grade you go.

  • Hey Biker , i know you like gundams wich i own personally myself and was wondering if you would like to buy them or trade there complete with accesories and all ?? so just reply back whenever you can

  • awesome paint job looks so real i think i am going to paint mine thanks for making this video

  • Your very welcome, Glad you like it.

  • It sounds like your washing machine is going on during the review.

  • It was the outskirts of Hurricane Ike you are hearing.

  • ah, well that stinks. Hope you and all your stuff made it through okay.

  • Oh yeah we are ok. Water is backed up in our back yard and my toilet does not work when the water is high. Luckily my neighbor will let me use their facilities.

  • You should get an MG kit. I think you'll like the build complexity, and a lot of them can be had for the $30 range, and they're at a nice point between the HG and $150 PG kits in terms of complexity, size, poseability, etc.

  • You should check out the mobile suit "Flag" from the new Gundam 00 series. They have a very Macross like aura about them, I say that because they look nothing like each other, but they have a Plane, Jet, and Gerwalk. mode.

  • all three combined is called g fortress

  • rick dias and other Doms are rad, try to find a master grade Nu Gundam, and fantastic paintjob on ZZ! i wish i still had all my gundams models lol

  • Very well done figure I haven't built a Gundam in several years the last one I bought I tore all over trying to find it and actually found it an anime convention I went to. But I think it was MS-18 Kampfer Mobile Suit and I know I never put him together I ended up moving onto Warhammer 40,000 and painting tanks and artillery pieces but still an awesome video and a great job on the paint/modelling work.

  • Very nice. I'm not very well versed in Gundam, but I always recognize that they are damn pretty. And building scale robots is always fun. I built quite a few Zoids back in high school.

I'll be looking forward to these.

Also, it might be an interesting idea to take several pictures or shots of the models in various stages of their construction, just to watch how it all comes together.

    Josh is still the man.

  • I was thinking about doing something that I have seen done before but differently. Filming the building of it, time lapseing it and showing it before paint/ pannel lines/ time lapse painting/ and then review. I just dont know with how slow i work how much I would have to compress it and if it would be worth watching when I am done.

  • Full on time lapse would be great if possible, but if it's not you could instead try just taking a series of photos and doing an end slide show or something like that.

Either way it would be fun to look at.

    Just a thought.

  • great vid as always dude.

  • This video actually got me looking for Gundam models on eBay last night.

I'm seriously wanting to get some of the larger ones.

  • I knwo, what sucxks is most people on Ebay Charge for shipping what they are charging for the model >:( Like 35 dollar figure, 35 dollar shipping after.

I shopped around and Hobby link Japan seemed like the best compromise. Shipped everything SAL rather than standard airmail and the shipping was decent, for my two 1/144s I just received shipping was only 18 dollars from japan for both.

  • Yeah, I see a couple of 1/60 scale one that I like but they're $60 with shipping. I guess that's still not... Horrible.

I'll definitely shop around first before I commit to anything though.

  • doin laundry josh lol

hey one of those kits wouldnt happen to be a dragon gundam would it (hes my favorite)

and in answer to evilshadowducky911's question no not all gundams need to be put together there are action figures

  • Nope, i have a RX-78GP02A MRLS from 0083, A Throne Eins and A Teiren Space type from OO.

  • Wow awesome vid man cant wait to see more vids Subscibed!!!

  • Thanks alot :D I am going to try and do gundam reviews fairly regularly. Just they are alot harder to come by than transformers so they might not be around as often.

  • he looks fragile !!

  • He is to a degree. It is decent plastic, but it is still just a model.

  • The backpack/jetpack looks like RID Ultra Magnus's jetpack and gun combined!

  • Is being on the edge of the storm a safe spot? And Nice review, Think I'll get one when I go to Japan but that's a long time.

  • Not especially. We just dont like evacuating.

We were on the east side of the eye also so that makes it worse.

  • nice model, he's probably using for make the Impulse gundam for gundam seed destiny

my favorites gundams come from this series, i talk about the three titans gundam: gaia, chaos and abyss, all transformables of course :p

  • i like what you did towards the end where you had the screen with you talking small and translucent, and then you had the rest of the screen being a close up of the figure. whenever you get back to doing TFs, you should continue to do that.

  • I did that just to try and save a little time, But I can do that.
