Lakeview junior high school Grade 7 and 8 band concert

i was searching around to find this song, our current Junior High band is playing this song, but I couldn't help but notice the trumpet's posture. you have better air flow if your back is not on the back of the chair, and you hold your instrument up higher.

@IAmTheColorBlack I know. But again, this was 3-4 years ago and we're in highschool. We were all 13-14 year old and were still learning. Now being in highschool, i realize that it's important for all of those things considering that i am in marching band, concert band, and wind ensemble. So i know how important it is now compared to then.

@HugoPlayTheTrumpet Well, this was almost 3 years ago, im in highschool and marching band is kick ass! and we do have our bells up now.. most of us left but atlest we got some of the best players but thanks anyway :)

its sorta different from the way our skool does it. I mean some parts are different like the trumpets small solo,, in paso flamenco cuz i play trumpet and i must say u guys did a good job . Were going to perform at a skool to on the 29th ^^

i agree u guys did great but the posture could have been better. my school played this but the tempo was faster

Hey you guys did great

but one thing that kept bothering was posture and the direction the instrument was pointing. It would have a more vibrant sound if it was leveled with you mouth. Same thing goes with the flutes. You guys have a great sound for a band. :)

thank you but we lose our percussion in the second song (008) because they are in 9th grade now so our percussion in the first song (paso flaminco) thats our percussion now plus we get the 6th graders coming from another school to help us out so next year is gunna be totally different then this year

in sixth grade i'm in seventh intermediate.

first chair in intermediate.

third chair in district for all the clarinets.

the other threee clarinets in district were 10, 9, & 8! :)

I am so mad.

Every band video I see has a fair amount of every instrument. Here's OUR band:

2 Trombones. 5 Clarinets. 4 Trumpets (me!). 6 Drummers. Here, the downfall.

1 Flute. 8 or 9 Saxaphones, and they CANT EVEN PLAY. They're too loud, the flute can't play a scale, my gosh.

The two songs were playing for our concert is Metzo Piano. Saxes are playing it triple forte, according to our teacher.

wow, thats a small band... and our saxes are ok i mean they're not the best no offence guys if they read this comment but that looks really small and it sounds all just one grade is it? cause ours is part of 7th and 8th grade students if u havent noticed XD

It sucks. So many kids just mess around, and a saxaphone plays all the way down in his chair with his sax to the side, and it sounds horrible.

I know what you mean. This is my band above but the stupid sax's take up a whole row.... and they r okay but they could be better... same as the trumpets. but they are deffinately better than the sax's. ( clarinets are the best. lol jk)
