  • are you wearing a bib apron

  • good idea, thanks for share it

  • I turned a light aqua 1960s terry cloth house coat of my mom's into a half apron. It still has the side pockets and I used part of the top to make front pockets as well. It is perfect for when I'm doing dishes and floors since it is very good at absorbing water. It was a lot of fun. I like your idea about using the skirts and dresses. I will have to look at our thrift store next time I go...Thanks!

  • great ideas! Thanks for sharing and i love hearing your little children in the back ground quietly playing as "mommy" works!

  • I like the idea of using a larger sized dress like you did. And I thoroughly enjoyed listening to the sweet sounds of your baby in the background.

  • I use old jeans to make half aprons. Enjoyed the video.

  • Wow, that was pretty creative! i have never thought about doing that to a skirt before. And pockets included..no need to "sew" a pocket if its already there.all the work is done for you. thanks again for the idea. loved it!

  • great thanks

  • This was fantastic! I have never thought to do this, I also don't like the traditional patterns for aprons I don't want to look like I'm off to Grill when I'm just around my house I like a more feminine apron like in the old days but not too ruffily etc,. Anyway I have never thought to re-use my own skirts to make the half aprons! These were great tips and I love the smock one you made, super cute. I'm all about fast and functional so thank you I am going to try and make the smock style :)
