You can't trade ANYTHING that is from the two DLC's like Knothole Island and See the Future. This includes dyes, weapons, armor pieces, and so on.

Basically, save the game once you've got the second teddy - but make sure you do it when you're still in that little room - then exit and start your game again and you'll get it immediately.
