Absolutely Sir. I am delighted to find you view it and appreciate this immortal song. Thanks.

  • What a dardi song. Mulatach 1960 chya aadhi Lata mangeshkaranchya aawajat ek prakarcha godwa aani dard yanche uttam mishran hote. Tyatun c. ramchandrache sangeet mhanje prashnach nahi.

  • @swapnilmahimna

Absolutely right. Sad songs are always sweet. C Ramachandra and Lata Mangeshkar combination has many many sweet songs. In fact I have maintained a Playlist of these songs. Thanks for liking and appreciation.

  • this beautiful song is from parchain not parchaiyan..

    thank

  • Great song! Great combination Lata Mangeshkar and Ramchandra Chitalkar

  • @SJisBack "Great song! Great combination Lata Mangeshkar and Ramchandra Chitalkar"

Absolutely right, Sudhir. Lata Ji's emotive sweet Voice, & equally expressive Music of Ramchandra Ji.

The heartrending voice of a sub-conscious of a soul hurt, & in want of love, beautifully depicted in this masterpiece of a combination !

"Ulfat ki thhokaron se aakhir naa bach saka dil

Jitnay kadam utthhaayay humnay sambhal sambhal kay " !

Equally touching Lyrics of Noor Lakhnavi !

Regards to you too, MahaleJi :)

  • o my God..what a melody....is it correct that all the movie records of "shin shinaki babla boo wrere lost in fire?

  • @b2savi

That is what I learnt through literature available. It looks like correct information.

    Thanks for liking.

  • One of the most beautiful songs by Lata...oh how many she has given us.

  • @vsv1949

    Absolutely right. Thanks.

  • thank u . i dont want to seem like an irritant

  • Thanks. Certainly not an irritant... it leads to perfection. Regards.

  • i am sure its ZARRE

    regards

  • Thanks .. being corrected soon.

    Regards.

  • this is my fav of lata ji claasics since childhood and i know the lyrics by heart.thanks for this superb song. if i am not mistaken it is ZARRE NA INKO SAMJHO. thanks

  • Thanks for liking, appreciation, comments and correction. In fact none of the web sites of lyrics had this particular clause of lyrics (left blank with ? mark). On listening the song I inserted the clause. I have no objection to correct. Please listen the song (audio) again and confirm.

  • this song reminds me of another beauty by lataji.. tum kya jaano tumhari yaad mein hum kitna roye which is equally beautiful and tough to sing. u have a marvellous choice sir !

  • Yes ; I too like it... that has same combination of CR and Lata; Movie - Shin Shinaki Babla Boo. The movie records were lost in a fire and audio only is available here and there.

Thanks for the keen interest being evinced in sweet movie songs of golden era.

  • Beautiful lyrics, wonderful singing, melodious tune and superb acting. This song is one of my all time favorites. Thank you for the video, Rumahale Ji

  • Thanks and welcome.

  • One of my beloved Lata songs with very touching poetry by Noor Lakhnavi and memorable composition by CR, in a movie by a gifted P-D. The line" Yeh khak per jo chamke.n zarne na inko samjho, phenka gayaa hai dil ka sheesha kuchal kuchal ke " is I believe the correct wording in the third stanza. See the creative use of metaphors to depict despair. V. Shantaram's use of music as therapy to assist recovery from illness is another imaginative touch here. A splendid post, rumahale.

  • Thanks for the comments and valuable suggestion on lyrics. In this copy paste era this mistake is carried forward in most of the sites. Having listened to the song repeatedly I have since corrected the lines. Thanks for the interest being evinced.

  • The reaction of delight-relief-surprise by the nurse, another woman, presumably a relative or helper, and Saroj Khan( I think it is she ,not Sandhya ,with the sitar, right?) as they all notice Jayshree regain her consciousness and haltingly utter the first words of this song, is as natural as any I have ever seen. Their expressions and gestures represent perfection in acting, for one doesn't feel they are acting but are rather being true to life. Thanks again.

  • Thanks for the in depth observation.

  • Wah, such a beautiful singing... Such a wonderful voice...

  • True. Thanks.
