I thought the first Transformers was good. The Rock is of my all time favourite movies and I thought Amargeddon and Island were good. I really don't get all the hate for Michael Bay. His movies are no worse than the average summer blockbuster.

when it comes to vivid light, explosions, anything with war-related features, Michael Bay knows how to direct it perfectly. Like Black Hawk Down, Bad Boys II, Pearl Harbor, and this Transformers. He uses a lot of outside elements and adds more of a natural light to it.

I like that he started off wanting to be a DP, that he hates bluesfuckingscreen, that he shoots real things like explosions and cars flipping and people flying in the air instead of having some geek do the whole thing on software, But I like about him the most is the eye candy he produces on EVERY frame. It's another kind of filmmaker, he's not there to pass a message or to criticize, but to entertain and make people have a good time.

The Island was such a masterpiece I was like, "Oh my god, it was all a organ harvesting ring!" The irony floored me for an ENTIRE YEAR.. Transformers was such an awful movie. I can't believe that someone would care THAT little about the movie they were making. It's the most sloppily directed piece of trie I have ver seen. Thirteen year-old boys without a brain in their head might like it, but for anyone who's passed puberty adn gained some intelligence, it's pretty obvious how lazy everyone involved in the production, save perhaps the animators and some of the actors, were, especiall Michael Bay.

when it comes to vivid light, explosions, anything with war-related features, Michael Bay knows how to direct it perfectly. Like Black Hawk Down, Bad Boys II, Pearl Harbor, and this Transformers. He uses a lot of outside elements and adds more of a natural light to it.

Here are some good directors that actually capture the "art" of directing: Steven Spielberg, Martin Scorsese, the Coen Brothers, Sam Mendes.

I like that he started off wanting to be a DP, that he hates bluesfuckingscreen, that he shoots real things like explosions and cars flipping and people flying in the air instead of having some geek do the whole thing on software, But I like about him the most is the eye candy he produces on EVERY frame. It's another kind of filmmaker, he's not there to pass a message or to criticize, but to entertain and make people have a good time.

Transformers was such an awful movie. I can't believe that someone would care THAT little about the movie they were making. It's the most sloppily directed piece of trie I have ver seen. Thirteen year-old boys without a brain in their head might like it, but for anyone who's passed puberty adn gained some intelligence, it's pretty obvious how lazy everyone involved in the production, save perhaps the animators and some of the actors, were, especiall Michael Bay.

You call someone brave and intelligent enough to point out what a horrible movie Transformers is awful? We KNOW that movies can be just for entertainment, but Transformers fails even on that level.
