  • You are amazing, and I love this video. Holy hell.

  • Saya no Uta was the first VN I ever played. Thank god I did that. But that was one hell of way to start... lol.

It's like sprinting before you even grow legs.

  • @SouthernRiprey Try playing The Muv Luv Series, starting from Extra to Alternative, It's going to rip your soul apart 100 times than Saya No Utah.

It makes Fate Stay Night Look Boring.

  • @SouthernRiprey lol I know what you mean, this was my first vn as well and got me totally hooked, I just sat there with my mouth open just saying wow as I experienced it.

  • the greatest VN I've ever experienced!

  • DID I SEE NIPPLES!?

  • One of the scariest things ever, but oh so good

  • Love this game!!! Getting chills the whole way thru the game lol.

  • michaeru1, i love you

  • What is this song called?

  • @Arayziel only if i knew =(

  • @Arayziel It's "零式" from -45 (D'va5)'s album Amurita.

  • Nice vid

  • This game is the awesomest thing i have ever seen\played.

  • loved the game :P tho I got all 3 endings in the same day

  • my favorite game for now :3

  • Ugh. I hate to be a noob but does anyone know the song/artist?

And of course, I love the video. I think the music fits the kind of creepy, gore filled world and the downright tension of some of the scenes.

Saya no Uta rules. =w= <3

  • I've never played these kinds of games, but I have watched gameplay here on Youtube. After watching what Saya does to people, I don't even think the word monster is enough to describe her. She may look and act 'innocent', but if her real form and true colors is enough to send a sane person into insanity, I'd hate to see what she really looks like. And by the ending when she 'pollinates' and turns human beings into that of herself, I shudder at the thought of what the world came to.

  • The ending may be scary, but actually it's damn sad. After all, mankind turns into hideous monsters, but Fuminori sees all this as normal people. Saya created a paradise for Fuminori. So the ending is actually really sad.

  • Yeah, I watched the last part and saw what became of humanity, which sucks. Who wants to be a nasty lump of disgusting flesh? I hated Saya and Fuminori, anyway, especially Saya. It's very sad what happened to his former friends, especially Yoh. She got the worst of it. Not only that, towards the ending when Kouji found her in her altered state, she seemed to be in massive amounts of pain.

  • Yea, I suppose the whole Yoh thing is sad. But still, Saya only made Yoh like that to make Fuminori happy. Before Fuminori came into her life she had noone that truly loved her. Of course she became happy when Fuminori came. And of course she did everything to make the one who loves her happy.

  • Granted, it probably also means the majority of the world is now starkly insane, but all the better as far as tragedy goes!

  • Every watch Star Trek? Well you know the Borg? That's like the ending of Saya No Uta so really, it's like the entire earth was assimilated, maybe they all ended up seeing the world as Fuminori sees it, a good tradeoff if I've ever seen one. Besides having eight arms, and the ability to spew out my digestive acids everywhere might be kind of handy...

  • Well, humanity would certainly be more intelligent if you think about everything Saya could do (She has a suregery kit inside her ;D) but it would be horrible for most people, except for Fuminori that is. But I suppose that in a couple of years the "humanity" would be used to their new badass bodies. Think of it positive: Now you'll never have o get insurance, you can just operate yourself :D

  • It's actually depressing when you put in the world perspective. How exactly would Humanity react to the sudden and horrifying changes to each other? Not only that, their environment is losing definition. Maybe it was a good idea that Ryouko stayed on the mountain... (Oh sorry SPOILERS).

  • Economically, I don't think there's going to be any issue.

  • It's funny you should say that when all of her actions come from studying and replicating human behaviour. Saya's race is actually that of superior intelligence and adaptiveness, each 'seed' like Saya landing on a new planet and finding the dominant species of that world, studying and memorizing all of their sociological aspects, replicating them and adding them to their own consciousness.

In other words: Humans are the monsters. All Saya did was repeat what she had learned from studying them.

  • I had a bit of a hard time understanding things as well as the report on Saya by that one doctor at the end. So thanks for clearing it up a bit for me.

  • Sure thing. At the same time, it was that adaptive ability and her absorption of human sociological values that made her not want to reproduce until she met Fuminori, as well as her fierce loyalty to him.

It's also mentioned that towards the end of Ougai's time with her, Saya was completely enthralled by literature on romance and love, such as from the Victorian era and 19th century; writing packed full of women lashing out at their rivals for a man's affections. Hence what she did to Yoh.

  • Ha, mankind, a cesspit of hatred and lies. (Castlevania redub FTW)

  • Interesting game, as expected from Nitrplus the creators of Phantom of Inferno, though it's a bit short. Took me around 2-3 hours to finish, lol.

  • Can you tell me why you deleted my post?

  • It says "deleted by author". That would be you.

  • What the ... ?!

Anyway, can someone please tell me the name of the song and/or artist? Would appriciate that.

  • Saya no Uta certainly fills me with conflicting feelings.

On the one hand, I can sympathize for Fuminori and Saya's plight.

On the other hand... Fuminori's former friends really don't deserve the fates that they receive.

  • Did Fuminori deserve to lose his senses and go insane? Hell, no one deserved their fates, not even the cynic doc.

  • @Ebikiyo Saya was what Fuminori was seeing but since Saya was already what Fuminori was seeing "she" seemed normal to him. Right?

  • imagine if this would happen to you...

  • if that would include Saya, then I would be ok with that happening to me.. ^ ^;;;;

  • You can last in college for three months without the ability to read (well, I think that's what happened to Fuminori because if I recall correctly, he couldn't read the traffic signs)?

  • Well, if nothing else, would water still taste the same (because water is necessary for all life, no matter what)?

  • Fuminori said early on in the VN that all food, including water, tasted disgusting to him, and that eating had become a daily form of torture for him.

  • But isn't water also a part of human meat that Fuminori actually enjoys?

  • But when he was bathing with Saya, the bath water looked normal. Bath water and drinking water are fundamentally the substance.

  • Never played the game, but since Saya, a horrible abomination, appears human, who's to say the bathwater isn't blood?

  • Abomination? Ouch. Also, I don't think it's blood because what creature bleeds enough to fill a tub (And no, I don't think it was stockpiled because blood coagulates after a short while)?

  • You have a point. But then who's to say she didn't round up a bunch of creatures together, then killed and drained them all at once?

  • She couldn't round them up because there's no dungeon in the house. Yeah, it seems you really didn't play the game.

  • I sense a touch of arrogance in that statement. Please do not use that tone when you know this from playing an ero-guro game.

Moving back to the subject matter, however, she could easily stuff them into any room of the house with enough barricades.

  • @crazymonkey77 Tone? What? Do you really think that games involving portly Italian plumbers or speedoholic hedgehogs are really any better?

  • Water is taste neutral when completely purified, so I suppose that tainted water (H20 with chlorine, lead, compounds, and minerals) would probably be somewhat like drinking slightly spoiled milk: its bad, but not noticeably so.

  • So... I'm correct in assuming that it would taste neutral to all manner of taste bud?

  • I fell in love with this game, it's just so intriguing in it's twisted insane glory.

  • Name of the song and If it's possible, a link to download the original video?

Thank you very much. This video is fucking amazing

  • 1:05 - Saya:: This is, My...and Fuminori's beginning.

Fumimori:: From here on, we'll always be together right, Saya?

    Best ending :(

  • Yeah, it was sort of bittersweet because you don't really know what happens to her, whether she's still with Fuminori or not.

  • Spoiler alert:: Read At own Risk

As for what happened to Saya. If you believe that the ending where fumimori's ex friend comes alone and Saya kills him. Yes, Saya does die, but the last gift she gives Fumimori is the gift of her children, basically pollinating the earth and changing every human (not animals because she only took in human dna, fumimori's dna), into an image of herself. So she lives on in his way, but ultimately shes a flower that has withered and died.

  • ~Spoilers~

Yeah well, that's just sad. Personally I liked the other one where they both died, they were sort of united in death so at the very least they were together. But the one where she pollinates the earth definietly had a more profound emotional effect.

  • One can die at any time, but changing the world takes real effort and passion.

  • Ooo, that's deep. +1

  • Well, does a flower die immediately after it has done its spore spreading?

  • Some flowers repeatedly bloom, but generally annual flowers will only bloom once or so and then completely die off, though their seeds may be cast out to grow more flowers. XD Just like Saya, kind of.

  • Lovely flower girl.

  • What would happen to the animals though? When everything looks like blood, guts, and just nasty, you tend to freak out.

  • Well, since Saya's seeds were concieved with the DNA of a human, most likely only the human race will change into such creatures. And theres a chance that everyone would see each other as people rather than blobs because of the reworking of the brain chemistry and other senses. The only thing animals have to worry about is continuing to be eaten and sold :(

  • The plot is good, the characters are awesome and all the ends are "good" if you change your point of view a little... This game is definitely one of the most strange(in a good way) games I played.

  • my god... one of the most disturbing games I've ever played... No happy endings btw : *

  • the ending where the species of saya populated the earth was the good(happy) ending.

  • I agree, that ending is happy ending at least to me ^^ But I never like the main guy from beginning to the end. lol, maybe the first ending where he got locked up in a mental hospital is actually good for him

  • Sorry, but the pollination ending was the True (read: Neutral) ending.

The "Happy" ending is the one where the fewest people die.

The "Sad" ending is the one where nearly everyone dies.

  • Comment removed

  • I didn't name the endings.

  • @Ebikiyo

There's no happy ending. The one you speak of simply leaves everything unsolved and unsatisfying, hardly a good one.

  • @MalakyEx

I never said the good ending was satisfying. But really, could it have been, given the story.

  • Oh god. That soundtrack! <333

  • I want this game too!

  • One word.

    WANT!

hahaha but yeah i so want this game T_T

  • Awesome job!!! :)

But it's a little bit scary xD

  • Wow... Great job... o.o

What's the name of the song?

  • I really like this game.
