I have a question, I have an Alienware M11x with a Intel Core i3 U 330 @ 1.20 GHz, 8 GB RAM, and a 64 bit OS with a 1GB Nvidia GeForce 335M video card. I get horrible FPS on games before MW2 like CoD4 and Halo 2 Vista. How do I fix this and what can I do? If I have to overclock what are the consequences and how do I prevent them? :(

Anyway, i'm 14, when i was 12 i got an acer, heavy, and broke quite soon, then i got Lenovo Ideapad Y450 which was a really good comp. I'm using it to type right now. And if i get about 70-80 marks for my year-end exam(which comes in 1.3months), my dad/mum allows me to buy the M15x with fully tuned specs online (original price ~1k USD, tuned ~4k USD). I know.. ;)

@aznshir0 yes i7 is more heavy weight for multi-tasking and faster processing rate with 4 cores ... i5 is just simple dual core however is able to run multi-threading to perform like a quad core ... however is better to have an actual 4 core hardware by i7 than 4 core software by i5 ... hope that helps
