@CBeans420 I guess how they taste depends on the cook. My grandfather raised them just for that purpose back in the 50's and I always enjoyed going to diner at his farm in New York. Grandma was an excellent cook! :-P

Has your dog always been that gentle, or did you train him to be like that? My dog would tear into that bird before he got within 10 feet of his food. But I'd like to have guineas and chickens around without having to worry about them too much.
@LilMtn0011 When he was young he'd chase anything that moves. Now he's 10 years old and much gentler. The guinea was our pet too so they lived together for several years. He still gets mad when the squirrels eat his food. Thanks for the comment I appreciate it
Ha! Everything's going fine until about 1:27 then he's like "ok, enough". He's a good sport. Guineas are very cool birds; I just wish they weren't so loud. Yours is nice and quiet. Is he/she your only guinea?
When that Guinea hen gets cooked the dog will get even! :-)

Our labradors wouldn't let anyone pinch their food, it would take them 30 seconds or less to finish a bowl that size!
