this kinda arcade crap is what makes the dreamcast look like a lame console :( never really like these scrolling shooters... Project X probably had to be the best side scrolling shooter... was addictive for a while on the Amiga.

What matters is it's overall quality. Chaos Field is great. It's one of the greatest top shooters ever, and my personal favorite. And yeah, Chaos Field can be pretty tough, but thankfully they give you a lot of options for difficulty as opposed to a rather linear "easy, normal, hard" thus it's very versatile to fit a players abilities. Despite it's intense garner, it is a managable game.

Chaos Field by Milestone Inc. kicks ass all the way from graphics to the music I'm glad to own this game for my japanese Dreamcast along with my copy of Radirgy.
