@Yamato3run Honestly, I'm not a downhiller. My favourite discipline is AM. It's best you ask someone else for opinion but still, take the bike for spin if you can and then decide. You listed awesome bikes, they're all at the very top, they're also expensive so take care when buying. If I ever get into DH I'd consider Glory - Maestro is awesome, I had ReignX and have now Reign. I'd also consider Transition TR450 and Session88. Good luck mate! :)

It's not a matter of stiffness, the wider diameter headtube gives them a larger weld area for the top and downtubes

top tube is thinner and doesn't need it, weight, compatibility with anglesets (are they all tapered or are some 1.5?)
and stiffness is still a part of it, a stiff fork on a flexy frame isn't going to feel stiff
