  • One of my two favorite versions the other being Marty Robbins. The first time I heard it was by Bing Crosby. Thanks for posting.

  • when I hear this song I think of DC getting hit by a nuke

  • Godly voice this man has.

  • opennick tv

  • Magnificent. I wonder what happened to music like this. I mean, I know about the social factors that led people to turn away from optimism and start accepting unshielded hedonism and acceptance of all kinds of conduct (even evil ones) as a dogma, but I just don't see how people could let it happen. It doesn't make sense.

P.S.: I'm actually less than 30 myself, but I'm a student of social and economic history.

  • Thanks for posting

  • Yes, I think so too! :)

  • Yes, it would something if those dear hearts came back. Days when you could leave doors unlocked. Incidentally - listening to that - I didn't know Jim knew Mrs Mills!

  • Awesome...hope those good old days will come to pass.....

  • wow. beautiful

  • I remember that my grandfather listened to Jim Reeves. I got a tape with JR before he died, thank you Bethesda for waking up good old memories.

  • indeed.

  • Lol!

  • p7811fx I am with ya man... the 1950's period is the greatest I think... besides the Cold War & Korea it was one of the resting periods in America where you could just relax and not worry about anything

  • I've always been in love with the 50's. It really was Americas best age.

  • God I am beinging to fall in love with the 1950s era with all these AAA games based in the time period (bioshock, fallout 3)

  • Me too !

  • Fallout 3 wasn't really based in the time period (It was actually some time in 2337 or something.) But just had a lot of themes(music, advertisement) from that era in it.

  • @p7811fx i already have lol

  • @p7811fx me too, I even bought a BLACK fedora

  • @p7811fx I always go to my grandparents house and everytime I do they're blasting this off their record player. It's amazing of how much talent those people had back then when now all these big hit artists use their computer software to make them sound good.

  • TODAY

  • I agree. Reeves is boring here, and bored. Crosby and Dinah Shore!

  • ha Cant wait for fall out 3!

  • Me too man i'm dying here

  • tomorrow !
