  • Hello* I mean. Mistyped that. I am sorry :(

  • Hell Jo and all. I am Cloe, age 10. I like your videos. I sometimes wish I could record things like this with a video camera and mic and such, but I/we don't have a camera. We have a mic, but no cam :(. Thanks for sharing this. You are very brave to do this. The (Host) of what we call her. She goes by Maxi, but I think she feels lost half the time because we always pop out a lot and she gets the lost time and such. Thanks again for sharing these videos. Take care :)

  • This is so familiar. Thanks for posting this. I'm newly diagnosed and just learning about all this stuff. I knew something was wrong when I couldn't remember half of the school year. I'm 30 and this was te most severe episode of memory loss I'd ever had. Hopefully through therapy I can find out how to cope with this. The time loss is the most frightening for me.

  • I'm partway through reading "First Person Plural" by Cameron West, which I'm sure that you, Jo, and your altars, have probably heard of. To EmelieL, Cameron West didn't remember any of the abuse he went through. That's how DID develops (correct me if I'm wrong, RainbowsBubble). When a person can't process trauma, they block out the memory by creating a new personality. Jo, you and your alters are so strong for sharing this! People need to know about this and understand how real it is.

  • thanks very much. yep we have fpp an have read it, lol we actually have 2 copies cos ppl keep borrowing it lol.

  • jo also dissociates.. her diagnoses of DID encludes all forms of DID.

but then y am i telling u, u think im fake.. how would u like some one to say that about u?

    Gem an the others..

oh an didnt u here the bit about being a day dreaming they called it? that was her change in behavour..

didnt any one teach u if u dont have any thing nice to say dont say it..

  • I just wanted to say that I came across this video and I think it's great that you're brave enough to share this with the world. I've only seen this video of yours, but it's very obvious that you're strong as hell. I can relate to your story very much. I was diagnosed over a year ago and it's been a crazy journey since. I just wanted to thank you for not making me feel so alone.

  • ur welcome..

if u wanna write to any of us feel free.. there r several of us out here. most wont do what jo did because of ppl like the one posted after u. who just r too blind to see the truth..

  • I/we would love you write to you all. Don't worry about ignorant people like that. Heh, if I had a nickel for every time I was called a liar I'd be rich by now. =p

  • lol ur right there, non of us with DID would have to play the lottery lol

  • (ONCE AGAIN, please accept my heartfelt "Thanks", as well as my genuine appreciation for your courage and strength, which are probably not as easily recognized from YOUR side of the camera... But I ASSURE YOU that I can see it from MINE! After watching these 2 videos, I have a better understanding of where it all takes you~from the inside, looking OUT!

Just one final thing that I am unsure about, if you don't mind my asking... What does the phrase "may trigger" mean?

    Thanks again!

  • triggers r thinks that cause unwanted flashbacks or memories. so because jo used the words abuse and slefharm and talked about her past it was posible it may cause unwanted memories or flashbacks for others who have been through simular, so by putting may trigger it lets them know. its kind of like putting a pg tag on it, it lets them know so they can keep safe.

    questions r good.

  • this is so beautiful!!!!!

  • i'm sorry to hear about this

  • Hi. I'm glad you know they really were real. :). Sorry about what you guys went though.

  • Wow, what a deep scenario, it draws you to the second part. We all have and or had our little problems, but some of us have a continuation of problems that follows us throughout our lives! I love to laugh at things and make jokes, but I don't pick and I know when to laugh and when to shut the hell up in serious situations! I have to check out part 2....

  • Thank you SO much for sharing your story & your experience with us! (Now I'll go on to watch part 2!)...

  • Peace and Love!

  • This is such a sad story. I was more than moved to hear about what you went through as a child. I am going on to hear part 2 now but no child should know such horrific days and years. I am more than sorry. ~Raven

  • we are lisning an just drew a picie like you said we should
