No, there are computer versions and playstation versions of RPG Maker, but none for both. You program and play all on playstation, the only way to play it is with the RPG Maker disk in and your memory card with the game on it.

RPG Maker 2 even though its 3D the graphics are very primitive. You have waaay more options and freedom to make the kind of game you want, including making cut scenes and everything, but with that comes the extremely confusing programming and coding. I tried for about a week to make a game with it, but it is way too hard to use, its the opposite of user friendly.

hmm, not exactly sure without turning the game on and looking, but I know its in event coding called modify party leader or something - but make sure to have that character in your party already or it wont work

Can you make your own characters (designing, naming, ect.) and mugshots? How do you type in text? Do you have to do it one letter at a time?

Thanks for the comments! Character design in this game is kind of limited, basically you have a model for a character i.e. Townsperson 1, and they have 4 different costumes you can choose from. There are a lot of limitations in RPG Maker 3, but it also helps make it more user friendly. You can name the character whatever you want, and the mugshots you just choose from, but you have a lot of options. For text I just plugged in a standard USB keyboard and it lets you type that way.

ok thats pritty sweet XD and i just have like 2 things to ask the first Q is : are the monster show up or do they come out randomly? and second Q: do i have to put in a story?

You can set how often you want monsters to come up, or if you want to do what i did. when they went to the dark castle i just put an invisible event code that triggered a monster fight. to activate the invisible event code you just have to walk over it. as for story you have complete freedom what to do, any cutscenes or conversations you all choose when it happens and what they say - you dont

when i made this i wasnt actually planning on ever putting it up online. i spent about a year making it, but i definitely wasnt working every day or anything. some months i wouldnt even do anything, so really, if i just put together all the days it took it was probably like about 30 days.

this game is actually really fun, ive made tons of different games with it, ive even done dramatic games, but thats not as fun for youtube :P characters and storyline can be whatever you want and they can say whatever you want. The world can be fairly gigantic as well.

Sorry I don't have any good news for you but I also have RPG Maker 2 and I have nooooo idea how use it, it's way too complicated for me. RPG Maker 3 is tons easier and it is much more user friendly :/ That being said the range of things you can do in RPGM2 is waaaay more like you can make cut scenes and stuff, just a lot more freedom. Since RPGM3 is easier to use the range is very limited but I feel I made a game that's unique enough to the best of my ability
