@hejjagedu Fallout 3 had a crappy plot, cardboard cutout characters, "towns" that consisted of around five people, and plenty of facepalming dialogue. Not to mention that it took the 50's thing way too far and it felt like is was only 20 years after the war, not 200. If you want a real Fallout experience get one of the originals or New Vegas.

fallout 3 was probably my favorite game until this can out. Borderlands has some characteristics that fallout 3 does with a ton of guns(unlike the 15or so that are in fallout 3) but a less compelling story. i was sad when fallout was over but the ending to borderlands was...mehh. overall, Borderlands is a ton better than any other game I've played

I just bought this new for ps3 at target on clearance for $20.98+tax(from 29.99+tax), it is a good and unique shooter. My first time playing it I played it for 10+ hours and barely scratched the surface of this game, And that is something I rarely do these days. I am afraid to play it again because I might not want to stop playing it, though I will play it but I have to make sure that I have a lot of time on my hands the next time that I continue playing the game that I am already in, lol.

I got bored with fallout 3, I finished all the quest in 6 days and had all the best armor and weapons, so I just didn't bother with the DLC. Don't get be wrong, I loved fallout 3, but i preferr Borderlands and Oblivion.

@MrJoobafob Agree 100%. This game is NOTHING like Fallout. In fact I find myself having more fun with this than F3. F3 IMO was just too clunky for my taste. The amount of variety in Borderlands also helps the overall feel as well, which is why I'm addicted to it lol.
