Was that Dame Maggie Smith? Wow, to be Angela Lansbury .... Not only can she say, "I was in a movie with Dame Maggie Smith," but she can say that she was in a Dame Agatha Christie movie; among so many other movies. She's done so well for herself; though the states mainly only know her for "Murder, She Wrote." It's not a bad series, by far! But I didn't even know that she was in "The Picture of Dorian Gray," until I spent some time with YouTube. Wonderful, nonetheless!
David Niven was such a gentleman from the top of his head to the end of his feet, and Angela Lansbury is amazing! In this scene together they are fantastic!

I love Angela Lasbury, I wish she was my grandmother! And when she does her spirited tango it makes me laugh. That Simon Macorkindale was a handsome man when he was young; may he rest in peace.
I knew the quality of comedy actress by Angela Lansbury. I'm used to seeing on the television series Murder, She Wrote. This is a great movie with a great cast. But see Mrs. Lansbury dancing tango, makes me smile a little :) Note the surprise Bette Davis 0:14
