  • BTW OP did not make this, this is off a CD called OPEN PIPE SYMPHONY. Fail.

  • @drboboh Show me where did I say that I recorded the sounds? All I did was get the sounds and put them together for everyone to enjoy.

  • @DRF71N got it. it sounded a lot like you were claiming ownership for the sounds, that is all. /thread

  • 1:36 to 2:03 YES!!!!

  • Ahh mah orgasmic ears... seriously F1 is the best motorsports race on earth. This is the video that made me return in liking Formula 1.

  • It's really a hard choice, but I think the Ferrari's V12 it's my favourite!!

Also the V16 is wonderful, if you think it was a 1951 engine, more than 60 years ago...o_o

  • Hey everyone, I made a new video with sounds from a pit lane! It's from the mid 90's so it has V8's, V10's and V12's in it, make sure you all check it out! Thanks

  • You could re-made some titles as well to know what sound is what engine mate

  • @amehu If you want specific engine titles, the pictures are of the car making the noise

  • at 4:03 you can here a very powerful scream like in todays modern f1 engines

  • Mercedes V8 ftw :)

  • v12

  • Grunt of the v16, the scream of the v10 or the turbo in the v12..... hard to choose.

  • @DragRacer1256 V12's didn't have turbos

  • @DragRacer1256 Yeah...it was the v6's that had turbos.

  • BWM V10 FLAT OUT AT 1:51 OH GOD YES LISTEN TO THAT BITCH!!

  • bmw wiliams v 10 and brm v 16 ist fuckin briliant aaaaaaaaaa

  • getting a boner!!!!!!

  • cargasm!!!!

  • :25 to :30 sounds like a jetski almost... This is incredible, worthy of a Big Lebowski style sleep soundtrack!

  • the sound of an F1 car engine is better than the sound of a girl orgasm... it's a scientific fact

and god I loved how the engine sounded like it was gonna blow when changing gears

  • OMG V12 ftw..!!!! fap fap fap fap fap fap fap fap fap fap.. (catch my breath) fap fap fap fap fap fap fap fap.. now I need a cigarette.

  • I'll vote for the v12s. The BRM V16s send shivers down my spine, but also evoke images of death at the next corner.

  • Dang the V16 just, bark.

  • V12 :O

  • 1:08 ♥♥♥♥ >

  • V12 all the way

  • luv it!

  • JIZZ ON MY HAIR

  • Thank you! Fantastic!

  • I CAN NOT GET PAST 0.28

  • 1:10

  • V12 is just like perfect sex pure passion, v10 is a like a cold woman, v16 is like a pornstar....under v10 sorry but there is no real love!

  • V10 is the best, wish Bernie would pull his head outta his ass n stop killing the sport.

  • v12 and v10 the best :) but in 2014 V6 WTF?!!

  • V12 and V16 are the best

  • some engine-beauty was singing at 1:19

  • can´t help it but the v16 is my favorite it sounds like nothing u ever heard that´s what makes it so special

  • The sound of the v12 and v10 are AMAZING! Stilll gotta go with the v10 as my favorite.

  • v10 best sounding engine in f1 they need to bring it back

  • V12!!

  • formula one has gone to the fucking hippies, and all we're left with is videos like this to remind us what real racing once was.

  • WOW!!! favorite part form :48 - 1:05

  • orgasmic.....

  • notice how much better the quality of the 50's vintage recordings are ... wow... modern digital media sucks.

  • @Polybun The recording of the BRM is from 2004. You get it on a CD if you purchase the book 'Into the red' by Nick Mason and Mark Hales. All the cars in the book are/were owned by Nick Mason (don't know if he has sold any of them since) and the CD contains recordings of some of the cars in the book. Recordings that they made for the book. Highly recommended :)

  • I would have loved to hear all of the video, but an unstoppable flow of jizz blasted out of my ears at 0:17

  • @BIGfart7 Jizz blasted out of your ears?? 0_0

  • @DRF71N That's just how EPIC this video is.

  • @BIGfart7 same happened here!

  • @BIGfart7 How did you get jizz in your ears?

  • is this on itunes?

  • BMW williams makes in my opinion the best v10 sounding engine in 2003, 2nd goes to ferrari..check youtube montoya 2003 kockenheim qualifying..orgasmic as HELL!!!

  • @feverNpain999 I agree, I've been to an F1 race in 2003 ;) Trust me, you could have the best stereo system in the world, still wouldn't be close to hearing them in person

  • @DRF71N haha, too bad i did not get to witness those raw v10 sound back in the days..what do you think with todays f1? i think DRS is total bullshit..but KERS and the pirelli tires are good for the sport...i dont know why but i am really looking forward to the v6 turbo engine in 2014..imagine it would be lighter, KERS power output would increase to 120kw, tyres and aerodynamic would improved and hopefully the sound would be as epic or maybe better than in the 80's!!! :)

  • @feverNpain999 I think todays F1 is great! I don't know why people are saying F1 is now shit and all, when the racing is so good. Even though Seb has dominated this year, look at all the races individually. And who can forget the epic title fight last season? I agree the DRS isn't right for the sport, but I think the current regulations are just right. Also, I don't think the V8's sound rubbish at all. I too am looking forward to the V6 Turbos, F1 needs to change it's engine rules

  • @DRF71N i personally would like to see f1 stay naturally aspirated

  • @DRF71N If turbos are introduced. sound would be more like an Industrial washing machine's grumping sound. l

  • The 3.0 L V10s at 20,000 rpm just before they banned them. Tearing, brutal, banshee screams with a raw thoatyness that is missing from the V8s.

  • damn the v12 and v10 both sound really good but there's not beating that old v12

  • best sound in the world just v12 ferrari 1986 -1990

  • @lucaccio717 They didn't have V12 engines in 1986, 1987 and 1988. They had V12 engines from 1989 to 1995.

  • From the sound of it, I'll bet Lucas had something to do with the ignition system on the otherwise lovely sound of the BRM. Still love it though.

  • Comment removed

  • to watch classic f1 races go to classicgrandprixclub

  • my fav part is 2:52 and then video lost a bolidcar xD

  • i want the v10 engine back but also love the v12 arhhhhh such a good sound

  • You cured my cancer with these sounds...

  • formula 1 is not about being "green"

it is about competition, and creating quite simply the most powerful car possible

i really dislike all these regulations which limit what teams can do because that is not in the true spirit of F1

  • I'll take turbo 6-cylinders sans the copious restrictions on body aero kits and double diffusers. A message to the FIA; please stop ripping the balls off the world's best autosport. kthxbye

  • 4:25 "Bloody Hell" Couldn't have said it better myself. Eargasm!

  • Formula 1 should plant treest to be eco friendly, not make small "eco friendly" engine.

They should make the best engine they could, and plant the amount of trees necessary. They would please every one :P

  • @1300l Main reason for going 6 cyl is not only to be 'eco friendly', but it's to make it more relevant to actual road cars. Not many manufactures make V8/V10/V12 road cars anymore, and by allowing 6cyl turbo engines, many more manufactures would think F1 is a viable option and enter it.

  • @DRF71N I dont know, back in the V10 and V12 turbo there wasnt many builders who did it. I think now days a performance car and a road car is more diferent then ever. In my view they should accept times chance, and card now going hybrid, turbo and downsize, leading to full eletric cars. F1 is diferent in my view :) The engine may be smal in cubic size, but with the max cylinders they can have and low curse of the pistons

  • @DRF71N

Your words make me want to run over there and kick you in the nuts so hard... i can't stop savoring the that thought. but your words are so true and that is maybe why I'm so pissed who knows. by the way who the fuck makes a truck with a 6 cylinder engine like what the fuck. pisses me off

  • @wootsilot Haha, the harsh realities of top level motorsport

  • @DRF71N Bollocks - nothing to do with manufacturers. Toyota failed hard despite throwing unlimited money at F1, BMW withdrew and Honda also pulled out. No way is anyone going to take risks with this economy...

  • @darthbandon10 You sorta just proved my point? BMW, Toyota and Honda pulled out because F1 wasn't viable anymore. Using engines that would be relevant to road cars would make F1 a much more viable option since they can actually use the technology and information gathered from F1 cars hence making sure the current manuactures stay and to help attract new manufactures into the sport. The money side of it also plays a part as you said, though these days F1 teams spend a lot less than what they did.

  • @DRF71N Bad management. Ferrari spent a crapload of money and were successful. You need the right team of people, a big budget doesn't guarantee success.

Red Bull's budget is reportedly in the $400 million region.

  • @DRF71N yeah and then every little garage owner could participate in F1 right?

  • @wootsilot 6 cylinder is the simplest engine layout, that's why europeans (especially germans) prefer 6 cylinder

  • @DRF71N To be honest, I never thought that new V6 or V4 turbo rules would be attracting new manufacturers, and although I usually see a new entry as positive, the recent new teams like Lotus and Virgin have a lot of reliability problems and lack of aerodinamics development. And Lotus has announced that it has been bought by Catherham, another manufacturer, due to economical problems.

  • The point is: it may be interesting to watch 24 cars going around, but if the slower ones get lapped at the 20th lap it has no sense. Mainly because those cars will block the top drivers as they lap them and the camers will RARELY follow the slower teams. A team cannot enter F1 if it is not sure of its own economy, because it will retire in 2 years if someone doesn't buy it. Want an example? Brawn GP, won a championship in 2009 and then became Mercedes in 2010.

  • @1300l are you fucking retarded????? research and find out how much pollution F1 including other race car (P1, GT3, GT5) are making these days. Then your'll plant a tree yourself.

  • @holymolydonutshop123 Why my post has 20 positive votes then?

  • @holymolydonutshop123 global warming is bullshit. If you believe any of it your retarded. It has been proven time and time again that global warming just doesn't exist. It is used to tax us, nothing more. The planet changes all the time. There was an ice age. there will be other ice ages. The planet will heat up and the planet will cool down. It happens. They call them environ"mentalists" for a reason.

  • First sound 1:36 V10 is my favourite :)

  • What about V8s

  • @stlchevy95 But if I'm watchin g Formule One I don't care about global warming etc...

I just want some brilliant engine noise and a lot of spectacle!

BTW; The V12 was by far the best noise!!!!

It was a big shame tank stops were forbidden, but if F1 gets 1.6 4 cyl engines, I'm gonna stop watching. I'll just watch DTM then...

  • v12 all the way. they have that single low tone to go with the high scream, ugh its just nirvana every time i hear it. i miss the V12.

  • When I close my eyes, I hear the sounds of the jungle.

  • @ajconally the v8s are 2.4. The 4's are 1.6. Thats only half, not 'alot smaller'. But theyll be more effecient and cost less and with planet earth losing all its money that aint such a bad idea. Plus ive seen 1.6 civics with 1000hp+ , so this could actually be good for f1. Just havta wait and see

  • If 1.6 turbo engines come in I think most of the venues are no longer going to hold F1 events, so fingers crossed this won't happen!! They fear that the sound will be nowhere near what it is with the current engines as they'd be much smaller and rev lower.

  • those final sounds are just creepy.

  • I can just imagine how much adrenaline I would get from watching f1 live. Hearing them come I would think "OH SHIT! Here they come again!"...in a good way though.

  • @nativebrother Yeah there is absolutely nothing like it. The tension 5 minutes before the race starts is almost unbearable. And when the cars are screaming around on the other side of the track and you can hear them coming closer and closer, it's the most exciting and the best feeling ever (without driving the car that is). Even though I've been to 3 F1 races, I still get excited like a little kid everytime they are about to come in to view. Everyone has to experience it once before they die.

  • Big news! F1 will now use 1.6ltr 6 cyl turbo engines instead of 4 cyls!! These rules will be introduced in 2014.

  • @DRF71N :D!!

  • @DRF71N 2015 mate

  • @camcamiopdp Nop, it's actually 2014

  • @DRF71N I want a V10 twin turbo charge that revs @ 23000 RPM :P

If the 6 cyl rev high it gona sound good too. Also the torque that the turbo will give can make the season intresting

  • wowwww yummyyy

  • 17 people have too much hair in their ears.

  • blast its like ur there

  • A-M-A-Z-I-N-G...just this...

  • Notice how the V8 isn't even a contender.

  • Why TV transmissions don't have this quality of sound?

  • Very very beautiful, just music to my ear

  • I keep envisioning the tunnel at Monaco for some reason

  • @marlinzman if that was in this tunnel, you wouldn't know what was happening, just humongous thunderstorm for couple of seconds, god's wrath

  • Makes my eyes water

  • In the voice of the Mortal Kombat announcer: "V12 WINS! SOUNDALITY!"

  • Gives me goosebumps hearing these again! I feel like a kid again!

  • v12 has a far better noise, especially on the down shifts...this is not noise this is music to my ears.

  • your husband in a coma? put this on.. and sit on his face. he'll wake right up.

  • @Synthiotics

    hahaha

  • A little bit of wee comes out every time I hear this! Total heaven!!

  • Miticoooo!!!!!

  • Im so unlucky not to have been able to remember the era of the V12's I can only remember the V10's onwards :(

  • V12 all the way v16 sounds like a ducati to much and it's all deep sounding

  • 17 people drive prius!

  • @DRF71N i find it funny how i happen to stumble across this video after reading your reply to a comment i left on another video of F! engine sounds, i really love these engines they seem unnatural and i believe that's what attracts me to them

  • i think there changin them to turbocharged four cylinders in a year or two

  • V10 for me...

  • Enough of these pussy V8s. 2.4 litres? Pfft. 18,000 rpm? Pfft. 800 horsepower? Pfft. We need to go back to V12s, with no rpm or power limits, and huge turbochargers. And none of this "engines need to last 3 weekends" crap either. I wanna see some 80s style "grenades" with 1500hp+ that only last like 2 laps.

  • @theparsonsman If Ayrton Senna hadn't died, we'd probably still have stupendously overpowered monsters rocketing around. The limits were brought in to help prevent another such incident, along with many other changes. RIP Senna.

  • @NellumNai yes I suppose and it was great shame that he died but I just feel F1 could be a bit more exciting. I mean Senna died at a time where you could almost poke through the bodywork because it was so thin, surely they could do with just a little more power these days.

  • @theparsonsman it'd last a bit longer if exotic material restriction is lifted as well.

  • @theparsonsman V12 turbo? Not even in the eighties it was made lol This will have like 1900hp/2000hp and last about half lap! Why so much people say things like that?

  • @theparsonsman LOL fuck yeah.

  • @theparsonsman There is a reason for the limitations.

  • @theparsonsman

Haha at the 80's style grenades that last only 2 laps. That's hilarious.

  • V12 Ferrari - The prancing horse

    Juste fucking magic

  • VRUM VRUM :3

  • V16 sounds from paradise;)

  • IS MUSIC¡¡¡

  • 1:49 is Williams.. i'm sure it is...!
