LT1 formula I/E CHIP 160 STAT 373's auto with 123,000mi runs consistant 13.80 and i have YET to lose to a STOCK srt4 on the street or up at Mororso in West Palm( FL) i've seen dozens of stock srt4's and it's always in the 14.1-14.7 range. just hooked up a small 100 shot last week(finally)had to finish paying for sons fire academy so now it's the old man's turn,lol can't wait to see what it runs now

Had SRT before...realize that advertised 230 HP by Dodge is a big fat insurance lie.

crank should be around 260 if not more...and with 2wd...they are fast as hell.

After mods to my SRT (about 1k) only STi could hold on...EVO's could not.

People like to rag on SRT's but they are dangerously fast (hence the multiple accidents)

Think about it - TD04 turbo on an inline 2.4L pushing 16Psi (with 577CC injectors )on two wheels with a Dodge truck tranny (Sprinter).

Basically the same turbo on a 2004-2008 rex, the TD04 on the 2008 WRX pushes 13.3PSI and the car can handle more PSI the cars are just tuned to be fast and comfortable as possible but they can push way more.

SRT-4 are fast cars, i respect them because they don't BS while being FWD but i really don't want to have one hahah i enjoy my 2009 WRX too much

Obviously the SRT had some mods done. The stock 09 wrx is the faster car, both 0-60 and in the quarter mile. WRX 0-60 4.7 seconds, 13.5 quarter mile--SRT-4 0-60 5.3 seconds, 13.8 quarter mile.

yeah i know him. he's my friend and just got the car a month ago at a dealership. as far as i could tell it has stage 1 pcm, cai, magnaflow catback, unknown dp, lowering springs, fm adjustable wga, fm turbo manifold which leads us to believe of the possibility that his stock turbo has the e1 upgrade with port and polish work done.

@o2compressor thats the noise both of mine make when your pegging out what the turbo can do, its what happens when your wga isnt hooded up , or your manual boost controller is set to high so the wga flap doesnt ever open.. not good for turbo
