    Beautiful dog

    scary growl D:

  • Does this collar make me look fat?

  • the dogs waging its tail so its happy

  • @cameronukz tail waging DOESNT mean its happy

  • @pokerfreak11 trust me it does

  • @cameronukz not always. learn dog behavior

  • @pokerfreak11 tail between legs neverse tail rite up acting dominant tail wag happy behavier do your research

  • @cameronukz Dogs and wolves wag their tails to release scents which carry vast amounts of information. It ranges from things, to put it simply, like Hello, I'm dominant, I am male/female, I am older/younger, I am stronger/weaker, and more. A tucked tail is fear and submission. An upright, rigid tail can mean aggression, alertness or play initiation. I suppose you would also say that a growl is anger and every bark is an alert? This is also wrong. Your canine knowledge seems very generalized.

  • @HiddenHeartsCry excactly i hate when people think that a dog with a wagging tail is happy... One of my foster dogs was very agressive and he would stomp his feet, wag his tail, and give you that im going to bite you look before he attacked you. There would be no growling or barking and when i was training him in a park he just didnt like this one person but she came up to try and pet him i told her to back off and she didnt because she said he was excited and he was giving her cute puppy eyes..

  • "ARRRGGHHHHH! That's the last time I'm getting botox!"

  • She's having a bad hair day

  • I think we have some self esteeme issues here lol

  • hahaha, thats funny. my malamutes starts licking the mirror

  • grrrrrrrrrrrrrr.

  • She's just checking for kibble in her teeth!

  • "This mascara is NOT working today. And WHO bought that conditioner in the bathroom??"

  • You can really hear the wolf in her!

  • lol, she'd look better if she didnt make that face XD

  • Someone has image issues.

  • my malamute never growls

  • She says " Dad I got something between my teeth.. would you plz take it out.."

  • She thinks she's ugly :(

  • Alaskan Malamutes are the friendliest but they can fuck you up if they really wanted to.

  • sounds like my Elvis when he doesn't want any medicine or to see the vet.

  • WTF....why is she growling like that??!!

  • @kmsdakota, jealously, that's like having another big dog home and your original dog not used to a new strange dog in the same territory

  • hahaha i love this, shes so adorable, my malamutes never growl not even if i ask or wrestel them

  • only problem with this clip is if for any reason your mal ever scratched or bit anybody by accident what would it look like in court .she's sweet and fluffy mmm ( i have10 working mals here) play safe

  • Holy shit. That would make any robber turn tail lol

  • did she audition in the movie The Thing? lol

  • dam ! thts scary

  • thats so funny! one of our Husky/Wolf hybrids does that lol

  • Malimute's are from alaska and husky's are from London... Duh lol

  • What is the difference between a malamute, and a husky?

  • @spagirl7 they are different breeds, Malamutes are nearly twice the size (can vary a bit though). Huskey's are quiet fast dogs, where as Malamutes are much stronger but slower. Huskey's are used to pull light loads fast, malamutes heavy loads long distances. They look similar but are quiet different. Huskey's often have blue eyes (or two different coloured eyes), whereas Malamutes normally have brown eyes. Both pack animals, both wonderful intelligent dogs

  • She must think she's human and what she's seeing in the mirror is a monster. Quite contrary, she's a beautiful creature!

  • Self-intimidation-- what an interesting phenomenon Lol

  • My boxer will raise her hackles and get the meanest sounding bark/growl going whenever anyone comes up to the house, but the SECOND they set foot into our home she's all drool and kisses. We have a joke going in our family that if our house ever got robbed, she'd probably hold the flashlight for them XD

  • @XxVeiinxX where do you live????? haha

  • What a beautiful dog! I loooooooooove huskys!!!!!

  • @KyororoFromKeron Me too but it's not a husky in the video lol

  • @rob1210 XD I remembered that 3 seconds after i posted the comment. Im such a dumbass XD

  • @KyororoFromKeron lol, it's all good, we are all prone to making a mistake, I just couldn't resist making the comment :D

  • @KyororoFromKeron its not a husky its a malamute...

  • she sounds like my dad snoring, does she thinks its another dog in the mirror? so weird how dogs think lol

  • @TrishyxLou your dad should probably see a doctor if he snores like that. lol

  • Omg my dog does the same thing to suspicious people.Dogs just know when strangers are a bad heart.

  • sounds like my old man snoring o.0

  • Oh, I get it...she thinks that theres another dog in the house so she's growling at her image saying, "Get off my territorry!"

  • Ahhh ha this is cute! When I put a mirror infront of my Malamute he just stares.. lol

  • My Husky sometimes does this when he meets someone he does not like...which is very rare.....but he can sense when there is something off about someone.

  • How is she with her shadow? lol

  • They are so beautiful, but if they growl, they're like a gremlin :P

  • can i change my diper now?

  • god, what a scary bitch!

  • omg my malamute dosent do that the the mirror, he much fancies himself and gives it a lick lol

  • @kayyikes Next time you see it, put it on youtube ^__^

  • @kayyikes lol that's hilarious!

  • @kayyikes my dog does that to, he stares at him self

  • scary

  • doesnt look like he visits the dental hygienist often........LOL

  • I have a big boned Alaskan Malamute similer to the one in the video. People saying Alaskan Malamutes are friednly and make hopeless gaurd dogs. Your wrong. My alaskan malamute is an apsolute phsyco. We didn't train him to be psyco it's just showing the wolf genes within.

  • @antoniou78 Malamutes don't have "wolf genes" more than any other dog.

  • nice teeth and scray growl wow

  • Fantastic Looking dog.

Three super heroes I have created have Alaskan Malamutes as pets. Two others have a rednose pit bull terrier, and a daschund.

  • Wow very interesting, I've had my Alaskan Malamute (Hailey) for about a year now and I've never seen her get angry, ever. Just seen her whine, get grumpy but never growl.

Haha she's about 90-110lbs (Wooly Giant) and our little 5lb Chihuahua and Toy Fox Terrier bosses her around! :P

Thanks for sharing this vid! 5/5

  • @thaatxboss same with my husky girl. she's 9 mths old and she's been around lots of other dogs, small children, lots of people, cats, hamsters, etc and i'm starting to think she doesn't know how to growl. :)

  • isnt that rare? to see that breed growl??

  • It is but they do if you train them to or if you get them REALLY ANGRY! But you definately don't want the latter...

  • @neutral613 yep

  • @neutral613 it's rare to seee this breed barking not growlin

  • @neutral613 if they don't like you...you will know and back off!

  • @neutral613 no, they growl. They're just a pack animal, and when she saw a new dog close to the 'pack' she got defensive. Its in their nature to protect the pack.

My Mal growls when he's eating his dinner, and you go near him... but when he growls, I just push him aside and take his food. Shuts him up pretty quick. Pulls him back into line.

  • @neutral613 Not at all....

  • I've been observing many different growls performed by the wolves, coyotes, and domestic dogs and I can say so far the malamute's growl is the closest to the Arctic wolves than any other dog breeds.

  • lol at first it sounded like it was choking but it looks really scary r those dogs like huskys? it sorda looks like one

  • Similar in appearance to the Husky but the Malamute is bigger boned and stronger looking and all Malmutes have brown eyes whereas Huskies are more streamlined in body build and can have blue / brown or even one of each coloures eyes.

  • @petertyson2

The easy way to tell the difference is Alaskan Malamutes have the bigger heads, coats are thicker, and their ears are medium size, siberian huskies have smaller heads, ears bigger more errect, and look thinner because their furcoats aren't as big.

    Both closely resemble Wolves.

  • Nona is a beautiful Alaskan Malamute hahaha I love Malamute's growl

  • I've noticed Malamutes have one of the deepest, meanest growl!

  • maybe she was being funny/silly.either way i sincerely hope you have no children around to one day be on the other end of her growling/god knows what else.I say this for their safety

  • I like the mixed messages with the tail wag and the evil growl. She's gorgeous! And I'm not surprised she gets upset with your Husky. You're a brave man/woman to have both an Alaskan Malamute AND a Husky! =P I assume the Malamute controls the domain? Yay, nay?

  • maybe she doesn't like the way she looks lol

  • @shannoncopley malamutes can get offensive to dogs of the same sex and breed

  • @shannoncopley lmao!

  • That is hilarious!

  • *bristles* no that is not. *growl*

  • Can you tell me what you mean by this message? What the heck is bristles..and yeah it WAS hilarious. LOL

  • bristling is when the fur sticks up. this person was being immature and more or less indicating actions of a wolf. first saying that he/she had fur sticking up. syaing it wasn't funny, then growling... there is nothing wrong with this beatiful dog growling at herself in the mirror. its just a dog being a silly dog ^_^. so, 1992kcwolf, chill out.
