  • I love the antique piano and your playing also. The fugue is in fact not little in terms of its contrapuntal writing. Just one probnlem - don't rush.

  • Nice. But one problem, you move your wrists too much. Keep them still and the song will be easier to play.

  • LOVE IT!!

  • Extremely impressive! That's not an easy arrangement by any stretch. And extremely good discipline on maintaining bearing and recovering from mistakes. I became more impressed the further it progressed in.

  • good job sweetie just more practice and be good

  • im 20 and this kid is better than me lol then again i just picked up the shet music this morning

  • wow you are amazing very good job man/ also good job to the father!

  • i have been looking all over for a piano transcription of this piece, do you know where i can find this one?

  • Antique piano - charming.

  • what's the second thind he plays at the end called?

  • @littlegrape13 Solfeggietto, CPE Bach

  • @sgent5 thanks

  • Although I absolutely love the Fugue in G Minor and it was very well played and adapted, I preferred the Solfeggieto in C minor.

  • the one that film, is the teacher or something ?

  • @Darkboy2525 No, I'm his dad.

  • @sgent5 haha ok than ! hello dad ;)

well ! it is very good that your son does play pieceslike this already ! well of course at this video he should practice some more but sure after 2 years later he is become much MUCH better ! impressive to see him play at this age Bach

  • @Darkboy2525 His latest video is "Concerto Bravo I" from last Spring, he has a new teacher that has really hammered on technique.

  • this is an amazing job for that piano lol, and the incredible young man thats playing.

  • Excellent. Despite the errors, this is still ever so excellent! Keep Bach alive!

  • this was fugue was originally written for piano but I have written a transcription for piano if your interested then eply

  • Brave little boy. A for effort. Can't wait to hear it when he has mastered it and on a tuned piano.

  • Amazing! Im trying to learn this on classical guitar..

  • Bravo!!!!

  • The second tune is written by CPE Bach, "Solfeggieto" (wq 117/2)

  • What's the second one? Is there a name or a number?

  • I thinks sounds awesome, but i think the piano needed to be tuned. But awesome job though.

  • This is one of my favorites! Great job playing it! I'm terrible at fugues... : )

  • really good

  • the solfeggietto needs work. lol i'm just teasing, he has a lot of potential once his hands catch up to his playing level. i've been playing for years and i'm only now about to attempt the fugue. wish me luck >.>

  • hi do you have the partitura of this?

  • Thanks for the encouragement, when he played this he was ten, his hands weren't big enough to hit an octave correctly. He loved the song and wanted to play it anyway!

  • Thats sum skill u got there lil man. keep at it

  • i am so green with envy. i've been trying that lately and I can't believe my ears. Amazing!

  • he did a good job for his age but tell him to play on lower scale/tone bc he is playing it too high from was Bash wrote and wanted

  • I loved this! Go Caleb! (and yes, slow down!)

  • Is there anybody that has any idea where to find this sheet music?

  • this has some real talent! just keep practicing! your really good. I would suggest starting finger exercises. Hanon and Czerny(spelling?) have some really good piano finger exercises.

  • Thanks, his new piano teacher, just this week put him in an intense Czerny book. Lots of short finger exercises. His hands, when he attempted this were not quite large enough to hit octaves,so he slides off the edge of the keys to make it.

  • I miss seeing Caleb do his at recital! :'( his was always the funnest to watch! although he didn't display that here! X3

  • No you're not! I'm 12 and I just had my third piano lesson yesterday!

  • no your not! Youre never to old to learn anything!

  • your fuckiing amazing. i love it

  • One hell of a mental challenge :)

I can't wait to have the talent to learn it.

  • sgent, this kid is awesome! just wait until he grows a little bit. he will be destroying that piano :)

  • 3:41 interesting playing !

    lol

  • Wait till this kids hands get bigger . he's gona tear the shit apart. Keep It Up Dude!

  • That looks sooooo difficult!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Great job!

  • it really isn't that difficult when on piano. if you can play bach inventions than you could easily learn this too i think. but this was written for organ, and organ it is extremely difficult. I know people who have been working on it for like 2 years on organ and they are like in their 30's

  • Very impressive, im struggling with it myself and im 15

  • good work! Its not an easy job to play the pedal part at the same time

  • goood job! i can play that second piece and i memorized it too! good job dude!

  • HAHAHAHA I LOVED IT! Great job. The Nose was the best part! The first piece is really difficult and the fact you tried to put all 3 hands into 2 is great. Post more :)

  • Nice nice nice

  • I am Caleb's Aunt, I'm glad to see he inherited all my talent :-)

    hahaha

Caleb, this is soooo awesome, great job! love Aunt Kathy

PS, Richard's wearing his fingers to the bone practicing guitar hero :-)

  • Thanks for the comment jmie5. I looked every where for a decent rendition of the original organ piece. This is from France, by Isidore Philipp. It is so technically difficult, really it's too much for his small hands, (octave runs) but he worked on it on his own for about 3 months and he really wanted to do it, so here it is.

  • Whomever said "Stay slow" gave wonderful advice; it's easy to get caried away with the flow of the piece, I think. It's pretty choppy, yet wonderful overall. You have to remember that this piece was meant for the organ. This little guy is playing all these overlaying melodies with only two tiny hands and lacks pedals for his feet an organ would have. I was looking for someone brave enough to do a piano version; I'm so glad I found this. Great job, little man! Don't stop practicing this.
