I would assume Zelda went for the shield because she already has plenty of jewels/gems. I mean, she IS a princess after all.

3:12 Don't they do it the wrong way around? The girl asks the "father" of the boy whether she can go out with him? Where does this game take place? Themyscira? ;-)

3:37 But the shield is useful. It probably is better to protect yourself and don't get hurt at all that to have a little more health to lose. Your voice acting is very cute though.

What system are you playing that game on? GBA?

I have one question: If your going to 100% this game? I only have like two tips that can help, one is a money trick, the other is when to drop off the blue shells. (But that maybe a supid question sinse this game is easy to 100% XD)

Yay Minish cap i have this game in a European cart and it does play in the US but i ahve played it a fare few times so i am not in the mood to play it again but its still a really cool game! The first Zelda game i played was Oracal of seasons it still has the very first save on it since i started! Ages decided to break damn carts and their poor age problems that casue them to die or stop!
