:D if you don't have mirin, you can try using Chinese Rice Wine.. That's what i did. The taste was almost the same. You need to add a little bit more sugar since Chinese Rice Wine is less sweet than Mirin.
Mirin is Japanese rice wine. You can get it at any market that has a decent selection. This recipe is also fantastic with sake(distilled Japanese spirits) and oyster sauce.
