  • Was she speaking Italian though most of it? Or a mixture of both? I noticed that she had a sizeable hump in her upper back. That is something we don't see anymore.

  • This brought tears because she reminded me exactly of my grandmother who was also an Italian immigrant. She used to talk about the same kinds of things. The rosary beads brought back memories. She had the same habits. She was always cleaning. I think of her often. I have nothing but memories of her kindness and love. I miss her. Many Italians worked so hard when they first came over & had many stories to tell. She passed away a few years after Mrs. Scioscia did. Wonderful video.
