You now can play using the analog stick, you can change it back to the normal way, but Sony has already perfected the analog control quicker than 2K11, which is pretty sad because they've been trying since 2K6. Other than that, all it is an updated roster, improved graphics and player animations.

Full analog control is an old idea for gaming. I don't see the buzz. The announcers from the pass 4 yrs are still boring. Please add NEW voices (in general), adding one new voice to the mix...how cheap is that. They game still sounds and looks like last year's title, except for Eric K. The other announcers sounds as tho they have food in their mouths or was drinking. MVP where are you? Russell, you guys are killing me. It's the same game. I just wish the MVP baseball series comes back soon. I'm burned out of the show. I am no longer going to be like most and be mesmerised by the graphics and presentation. All that does is blinds one to the fact that in their quest for realism, they've sucked the fun out of this game. I'm talking from the perspective of someone that plays against the AI, to do real team seasons. The computer finds new ways to cheat you. Those that know know what i mean. The remedy? Pitch like Cy Young, but ......

@mr198221 i agree 100%. i've bought The Show every year and every year, I get more and more bored. The game LOOKS amazing but there's just something about it...it's not "fun". Little things like the stale commentary (really, 3 years now of the same thing with tiny additions) and the music, make it seem ancient now. As much as 2K is horrible, I find myself having more fun playing it because it's not such a drag.

MLB The Show 10 was the worst of the series that had the least changes. But this time around it looks like they have made a lot of changes, judging from the demo that I was able to play.

Playing a game with no story is like picking up a book and only looking at pictures... Mass Effect has a great story, Halo games have had good stories, Infamous has a great story, Metal Gear another great story, the list goes on and on...

Everything about this game is 5 stars accept for the announcing. I mean can't they add more Variety? "Tiexiera takes it to the bag himself for the first out" vascursion has been saying the SAME nonsense for years it's not that it's terrible it's just that it's repetitive. I'm glad they added a new announcer but they need VARIETY in what each announcer says. Biggest and maybe only flaw of this game.

@nscwevideos59 I'm not judging 2k. I actually played 2k6 non stop back in the day. Then when I bought my ps3 in 2007 I randomly rented MLB the show 07. I remember being blown away when I seen a player actually remove his hat from his head. Everything was so fluid so smooth. Unlike the robotic mechanics in the 2k series. @ihawk5 - As you know Eric Karros replaced Rex Hudler and he sound ok in this. The Show did add some new features. 1. Analog pitching and hitting 2. They toitally revamped Road to The Show. 3. Multi-players can play on the same team against each other. 4. On-line contest with prizes. 5. Weather/ Rain games and a few other things. But I do understand your postition. If you're happy with The Show 09 and don't want to pay $60.00 for this I say wait until the price drops usually in 3/4 months

The show is a better game no question, but the commentating needs improvement, and that's a no brainer. 2K commentators are much more dynamic more realistic like it's in real time. This stuff is more scriptic sounding, there is no banter back and fourth like 2k.

Actually, I disagree. I prefer the commentary of The Show over 2K. At least in The Show they mention major milestones such as a season or career record. I haven't had that happen to me yet on 2K
