@LiberTBo When Gibson made the anouncment on JB's signature guitars of two of them . It was announced at 5,00 and 7,000 I saw Jackson May 4, 2011 he showed bothof them . Then explain to me please. Jackson has always been a man of kindness and integrity, he auctions them for his charities.

theres a lot of good guitars around, some very expensive and some not so much so. i really like jackson brown and his music, but as a player of several different brands of guitar, i'd have to say that theres absolutely nothing wrong with yamaha guitars - they have made a consistently great product for years.

Sorry - didn't mean to sound ungracious and condescending - simply meant if you audition the guitar and feel that it is worthy of the pice tag buy it , if it falls short of expectations then pass.

Based on the premium materials - extensive R&D - and "Made in USA" by experienced craftsmen - you could pay that much or more for a fine instrument with no name on it. If you like the guitar buy it - If you don't - don't.

@mikesgigtv There are craftsmen falling out of trees all over America who make great guitars. James Taylor's Olson signature model guitar tags at about $15,000 thats got three times the extras and is no different other than materials and price. Your rational regarding if you like it buy, if you don't, don't is ungracious and condescending. Did you hear Jackson make the comment about the Yamaha? Price does not = sound sometimes.

The Jackson Browne Signature Model Gibson is priced around $4,500 in most stores. For people who have respected Jackson and listened to his music all these years, its almost an insult. Jackson's spent a lot of time supporting environmental causes, no-nukes, and a ton of anti establishment issues. Putting his name on a $4,500 guitar is a contradiction to his ethics.

Go to Gibson web site the two editions made for him by Gibson took ten years in the making with JB and David Linley over seeing it all the way ! Cost ? That is more than fair! Jackson at his benefits auctions them off to support his causes ! Do your home work! Have you checked the cost of any well made guitar? Go look !

You're the one who needs to do your homework Ladymusic50 JB is Kevin Ryan's (guitar maker) website endorsing the Kevin Ryan Mission Grand Concert guitar with a base price $ 7,200 the one mad up for JB is in the $12-$15,000 range. JB plays all types of guitars, even the lowly Yamaha which he likes as well. Do you have some anger isssues? The guy gave a pretty honest assessment, I agree.

the guitar is so wonderful- it sounds good, is environmentally friendly made using perfectly good scrap wood, looks beautiful without being too flashy, and every little detail is specified by Jackson Browne to make it good
